The mystical Charpa Falls is located in the Athirappilly region of Thrissur district in Kerala. The waterfall falls from a height of 70 feet and is located in between Vazhachal and Athirappilly waterfalls. The source of the waterfall is Chalakudy River, which is also a source of other waterfalls in that region. These waterfalls look mesmerizing and magnificent during monsoon season as the water flows at a speedy rate giving an enchanting and exceptionally beautiful surrounding. The Charpa falls is located at a distance of 60 kilometers from Thrissur. Athirappilly Falls: These falls are often called the Niagara Falls of India due to the might size which is 330 feet wide and around 80 feet of height. These are the biggest waterfalls in the state of Kerala. The falls are surrounded by dense forest which is one of the most fascinating and interesting biodiversity spots in Kerala. Visit the place and spot endangered animals like hornbill, elephants, bison, tigers, and leopards.
Vazhachal Falls: Another famous place to explore near Charpa waterfalls is Vazhachal falls, which are located around 4 kilometers away. The source of these waterfalls is also Chalakudy River and Vazhachal falls from the Sholayar ranges. The place is visited by many tourists due to its fineness and scenic views.
