The waterfall falls from a height of 70 feet and is located in between Vazhachal and Athirappilly waterfalls. The source of the waterfall is Chalakudy River, which is also a source of other waterfalls in that region. Athirappilly Falls: These falls are often called the Niagara Falls of India due to the might size which is 330 feet wide and around 80 feet of height. These are the biggest waterfalls in the state of Kerala. The falls are surrounded by dense forest which is one of the most fascinating and interesting biodiversity spots in Kerala. Vazhachal Falls: Another famous place to explore near Charpa waterfalls is Vazhachal falls, which are located around 4 kilometers away. The source of these waterfalls is also Chalakudy River and Vazhachal falls from the Sholayar ranges. The place is visited by many tourists due to its fineness and scenic views.
