Samudra Beach In Kovalam

Kovalam is Kerala’s prime location for tourists to enjoy beaches.

There is an abundance of beaches in this tiny surf town, each one of them as beautiful as the last. Along with them all being aesthetically pleasing, each beach also has something unique to offer those visiting it. Samudra beach is no exception to this with it having it’s own distinctive charm that hold great attraction for certain travellers. Separated from the rest of the Kovalam beaches by rock formations and fissures, Samudra Beach is a little aloof and isolated from the rest of the beaches. With the rock formations and lack of water related activities that are available at the other beaches, tourists usually end up ignoring Samudra beach a little. However, that is what lends this tiny, quaint beach it’s beauty. Samudra beach is a haven for those wanting to relax by the ocean a little ways away from the tourist hustle bustle. It offers a serenity that is hard to find at tourist destinations these days.

The idea that there is not much to do at Samudra beach is a categorically narrow one. While it does not boast of all the activities that other beaches have to offer, there are still a fair number of shacks and restaurants offering delicious local food at cheaper rates. The nearby and even more secluded Ashoka beach is also a walking distance from Samudra beach. A walk down this beach at certain times of the day is as romantic as it can get anywhere in the world. So, if it is an opportunity for quiet contemplation by the ocean or time spent with someone that you were always looking for, Samudra beach, Kovalam deserves to be firmly on your list of places to visit.

My trip was kerala was arranged by Namaskaram travels. My agent Sunny was very helpful throughout the trip. However I had some bad experience through the trip. The hotel in Munnar, Grand Valley, which was given to me in a 4 star package package was not of the standard for a 4-star. The location of the hotel was 100-150 m steep down the road, which could only be reached through hotel jeep, our traveller stayed out. A good hotel but not a 4 star. The next day, my traveller broke down on our way to Thekkady and we were stuck in the middle of nowhere for a couple of hours. The agency arranged for another traveller which covered our itenary for that day and dropped us to our hotel, Woodnote, which was the best in our trip. Local arrangements were made for our siteseeing in Thekkady, which were also good. Finally, a new traveller was assigned to us for our remaining trip, with with we covered Allepy and our drop to Kochi. Overall: Traveller Experience: 2/10 Grand Valley View, Munnar: 4/10 Woodnote, Thekkady: 10/10 Time Square, Allepy: 7/10 Agent Communication: 10/10 Travel Triangle Communication: 10/10
