Adventure Activities Thailand
Thailand is a country that is a traveller’s paradise. Various Thailand points of interest keep tourists intrigued throughout their vacation in this country. The warm, tropical country with an equal share of natural bounty and manmade attractions has something to suit everyone’s taste. There is no dearth of things to do in Thailand, and if one has the eye for the unseen and a spirit for the unexplored, Thailand has a plateful of captivating activities for its tourists. Beyond the sunny beaches and ornate temples – there is so much more that the Land of Smiles has to offer. Here are few of the many things tourists can indulge in while enjoying a vacation Thailand.
Shopping in Thailand
From street hawkers to weekend marts and from floating markets to big malls – Thailand is a heaven for the impulsive shoppers. Thailand shopping is not just a leisurely activity. There are trinkets and souvenirs native to the place that cannot be easily found elsewhere. The riverside Asiatique Night Market is open seven days a week from 4 pm to midnight and it is a must-visit souk .
Skydiving is an unmissable Thailand adventure. Although there are only two drop zones in Thailand – Freefall Thailand and Thai Sky Adventures, the activity is still very popular and in vogue among the tourists visiting Thailand. One can either go for Tandem or for Accelerated Free Fall, depending on which they are comfortable. With a licensed trainer/jumpmaster as support, it would be an experience of a lifetime.
Scuba diving in Thailand is a refreshing experience. The crystal blue water of the sea opens up a whole new world with corals and shoals of colourful fishes, and witnessing their private underwater life from the closest quarters is unimaginably serene. There is no need to worry if someone is not very competent with swimming. There are trainers to take care of the safety standard issues and help tourists enjoy water sports in Thailand to the most
The Zipline flight in Chiang Mai rainforest is one of the most adrenaline-filled outdoor activities one can ever experience, and also among the best things to do in Thailand. The straps keeps the body harnessed to the zips, which hang between tall tropical trees within the dense forest, but it is up to the climbers to keep moving forward. There might be chances of spotting a few wild animals as well.
Elephant bathing and feeding
Elephants are aplenty in Thailand and also part of many major activities like safaris. Skipping those typical activities and going for a more nurturing route is a rewarding thing to do. Tourists can visit the elephant rehabilitation camps for bathing and feeding the animals with their own hands and understanding the wild
Bamboo rafting is a lovely Thailand activity, especially when done in a group. Depending on the size, one raft can hold from 2-4 people at a time, who have to control and balance the raft down the flow of the stream. It has a very rustic feeling to it, and unlike any other activity one can find in Thailand.
Flyboarding is an amazing activity that pampers those who are in love with adrenaline rush. . Swooping deep into the waves like Aquaman and then soaring high up above like Iron Man – the excitement and adrenaline rush that come with it is quite inexplicable.
So, tourists need not worry about what to do in Thailand as there are myriad options to indulge in and have a whale of a time.
