Adventure Activities Siem Reap
An iconic retreat town in northwest Cambodia, Siem Reap finds itself right in the center of the country’s tourism. Being the gateway city to the world-famous, legendary temple of Angkor Wat, what to do in Siem Reap in 3 days is a question not a lot of people worry about. So even after the travellers are done with the traditional visits to the temples, there are still places to discover, diners to eat in and shops to indulge in retail therapy.
Here are the different things to do in Siem Reap for those who want, a complete experience of the lovely town.
1. Enjoy the circus - Phare Ponleu Selpak
Not the first thing one expects on a foreign country trip, but the circus show of Phare Ponleu Selpak is not to be missed. It is one of the best things to do in Siem Reap at night, once the temple visits are over. The famous spectacle tells a fascinating story through acrobatics, trapeze, music, dance, drama, comedy and an eclectic range of performing arts for a couple of hours to entertain guests. What makes it more impressive is that the establishments hire performers straight out of their own performing arts school where they provide an opportunity for education and future employment for unprivileged children. The show brings a perfect mix of traditional Khmer style weaved into a contemporary flavor to it, as popularised by the famous Cirque du Soleil of Canada.
2. Take zip line tour – Flight of the Gibbon
Within the Angkor National Park, there is an exciting, adrenaline-pumping zip line tour by Flight of the Gibbon that takes you over the jungle canopy through ten zip lines. The two-hour course covers four hanging sky-bridges, a fifty-meter abseil, and 21 platform stations. Staying true to its name, there might be a possibility of spotting a few gibbons as well. Lunch is served as a part of the tour. This must be on one’s itinerary if one is looking for things to do in Siem Reap in 2 days.
3. See and shop true Angkor Handicraft
Angkor Handicraft Association has set up its whole organization to be a non-profit, where all the proceeds go for supporting the local community and for sustaining the indigenous art and craft. Visitors can see for themselves in the Fair Trade Village how the local artisans handcraft the artifacts with care and devotion. Bags, jewelry, scarves, decorative items, paintings – everything here is made from scratch with the labor and sweat of the local craftspeople. Shopping in Siem Reap is an amazing experience in itself.
4. Get a fish pedicure
If this activity sounds new and crazy, then you have been missing out on the latest obsession in beauty care – the fish pedicure. Small fish are used in this pedicure, and they nibble off the dead skin of the feet. It might feel uncomfortable, to begin with, if someone is doing it for the first time, but once it grows on, the experience is quite quirky yet refreshing. The Temple Town is full of such fish pedicure spas for both men and women. When one wonders what to do in Siem Reap in 3 days, one can add this to their to-do list.
5. Ride the hot air balloon over Angkor Wat
Hot air balloon ride in Siem Reap are of two types – one stays tethered to a point and offers a solo angular view of the Angkor Wat, another takes you around the city of Siem Reap stopping at abrupt points, providing a wider, breathtakingly beautiful view of Cambodia’s heart. If the temple and its surrounding greenery looked majestic from down below, it would look surreal from up in the sky on a giant hot air balloon. It is one of the best things one can do as Siem Reap adventure activities.
Hot Air Balloon In Siem Reap
The temples of Angkor look fascinating from the ground. Imagine how strikingly imperial it might look from up above in the sky. Hot air balloon Cambodia allows the visitors of Angkor to catch a glimpse of the majestic architectures from the elevated vantage point. This would be a lifetime experience and not something one ca...

Lyeana's 6 days trip to Siem ReapThank you Hannah & Shubham for all the planning that went into this trip. Both were very prompt with messages and calls.. The drivers on the trip were very punctual always came in 15 mins before the given time which was really good as we didnt have to wait or call anyone. The package itself was very good. We changed it so many times but both Hannah and Shubham were very patient. All in all we had a very good trip. So thank you!
Chinmay Vinayak Joshi
Chinmay's 15 days trip to Siem ReapWell my testimonial matters the most because i am a hardcore critic when it comes to services. I was very skeptical while dealing with LVP Travels since i had read so many kinds of reviews online during my research and finalization. During my process of planning, i got lot of help from Jenny and she was very kind and happy to help. When i finally decided to go ahead with Jenny's company, i still had my doubts if the services will be delivered accurately without any hiccups. But I would say, Jenny did a commendable job in arrangement of the tour. She was in touch all through and wherever there were challenges she found out the way to deal with those to make my tour a memorable one. Just to mention, i had lots of discussions, agreements, disagreements with Jenny, but in the end the service was nice. Jenny you have earned this testimonial. Looking forward for more such associations.
Jaydeep's 2 days trip to Siem ReapIt was an awesome experience! All arrangements were as per itinerary promised. All pickups and activities were on dot time as mentioned. Henry, travel associate from S VIet was in constant touch and always available for any additional information or help. We were in good hands and good care was taken. Must say impressed and delighted with flawless planning. 10 on 10 for activities and accommodation, travel arrangements. I strongly recommend, if you are travelling Vietnam it has to be Travel Traingle and S VIet (Now Realistic Asia). I will definitely give first preference for my future holidays.

Karma's 7 days trip to Siem ReapThe trip was perfectly planned except for the lay over time everything went smoothly
Shruthi's 5 days trip to Siem ReapThank you Lana for a wonderful Cambodia vacation! Angkor wat , Ta prohm temple in Siem Reap and the royal palace in Phnom Penh
Prerna's 8 days trip to Siem ReapThank you Bamboo Hat Tours. My friend and I went to Cambodia and Vietnam. Just returned on the 12th. Sophie was really hands on. She coordinated everything perfectly and was just a call away. The hotels were very comfortable and the guides (The only guide with the red hat in Cambodia, Thom [May have got the name incorrect but she is 24 with a kid and fiercely independent for someone from her clan] in Sapa Valley and Tom at Halong Bay) were extremely efficient, helpful, and they put things across to us in simple, understandable english, which is a feat as english isn't their mother tongue and as guides who barely make 250 dollars a month during peak season, we were apperciative of the effort that they put in. I had read a lot on Angkor Wat, Sapa Valley and Halong Bay but what these guides told us was nothing short of a treasure trove of knowledge- straight from the horses' mouths, in this case, native Cambodians and Vietnamese. The staff at the hotels ((Mekong Angkor Palace, Diamond Legend Hotel, Apricot Cruise and Beautiful Sapa Hotel) were so so helpful as well. Everyone, including the lovely Pho lady and family beside Diamong Legend Hotel, was kind and uber hospitable. We are now planning a trip with Bamboo Hat for next April (Loas and Myanmar)...so will be contacting Sophie again. Why? Cause she and everyone associated with Bamboo Hat are damn good..thats why. :)
Jharna's 7 days trip to Siem ReapIt was a very well planned trip which covered all that we wanted ... my agent Shubham and Vicky (in Vietnam) were super promt and extremely efficient with everything .. overall we had an amazing time with no false promises or additional costs... only the 31st cruise party was disappointing and not as expected... also in Bana hills it was raining heavily (which we were not informed about) and so we couldn't do anything much and the day was almost wasted... MUA CAVES Exploring Hanoi Night market and DaNang adventure park was a lot of fun
Sumedha's 10 days trip to Siem ReapThe trip was great . Travel agents Ms. Julia & Ms. Jenny from LVP were extremely helpful. I thank them for their support. The guides & vehicles provided were also very good. Thanks for making our trip memorable.
