Adam's Bridge In Rameshwaram

Built of limestone shoals, Adam’s Bridge connects Pamban Island near Rameshwaram of Tamil Nadu to the Mannar Island of Sri Lanka. It is mainly a chain of coral reefs and sandbanks, wrapped by a soothing aura, which imparts a relaxing experience to visitors. Some of the sandbanks are dry and the sea around the area is very shallow. Sri Lankans often believe that the Adam's Bridge to Sri Lanka was constructed by Ravana, using floating rocks made of weightless corals to reach India whenever he wanted. An American science channel in December 2017, claimed that the bridge is man-made that connects India and Sri Lanka.
