About Ariyaman Beach In Rameshwaram
Ariyaman Beach also known as Kushi Beach is situated on the side of the Palk Bay in the Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu. The beach extends to a stretch of 2 km, measures around 150 km in width, and is located at a distance of 27 km from the city. This well-maintained beach is a much loved spot for relaxation and enjoying time with ones dear ones, and soak in the scenic charm around. Its clean water, gentle waves, and spick and span surroundings impart an ethereal experience as visitors laze on its soft golden sand.
The Kushi Beach in Rameshwaram is populated by tall casuarina trees and listed as one of the most tranquil beaches of Tamil Nadu. It is looked upon as a favorite spot for picnic among locals and vacationers, alike. A trip to Rameshwar is incomplete without a visit to this beach. The beach takes visitors close to the beauty of refreshing nature. It is estimated that during weekends and festivals, the beach welcomes over 5000 visitors. Tourists can count on several dormitories and cottages at the beach for a soothing and comfortable accommodation.

Parasailing is the highlight of this beach in which water sports enthusiasts are taken 200 meter above water using a parachute, controlled by a moving boat. An artificial thundershower, a watchtower, and a swimming pool are also there to suit varied interests of visitors.
