By Air

There are two trains running weekly to and from Moscow called the "Kirgizia". All the trains go through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Reaching Bishkek by train is usually not preferred owing to the long journey hours.

By Road

Reaching Bishkek by road is another option which you have in hand. There are several buses which connect Bishkek with Kazakhstan, Tashkent, Almaty and Uzbekistan. It takes only three hours by road from Almaty, capital of Kazakhstan. You can also hire a car but be careful when you come to the city by road as the roads are not in a very fine condition.

    The public square in the city of Bishkek was established to praise the jubilant victory over Nazi Germany.
