About Ubud Palace In Bali

Ubud Palace History:

The history of the palace is classically very influencing, just like how we learn about the other palaces. During the glorious 8th century, a Hindu monk traveled to the island of Java. His name was Rsi Markandeya. The saint obtained a spiritual upliftment and placed five metals stones of magical importance on the island. Presently the place where these five holy stones are placed in the biggest temple in Bali and go by the name- Pura Besakih.

Later during his stay, Rsi Markandeya declared the area of Ubud a site of spiritual importance thanks to the medicinal flora growing in the region. The area then became a place where people were cured on their illness and revived with full medicinal treatment. The palace showcases the architecture that has a dominant display of Gelgel Kingdom. Many Balinese artists collaborated to build the Ubud Palace, thus making it one of the most loved and beautiful attractions of Bali.

Except the few Hiccups such as West Nusa Penida Tour cancelled sudenly, hotel at Nusa Penida not reaching payment leading to my family stranded for 2 hours, the trip was otherwise well planned. I experienced issue while contacting the drivers assigned. Agent shared a number of the driver but then that person always was an agent who gave us the number other sub-agent who eventually connected us with the driver. This was really tiresome.

We feel those are for photos only instead of enjoying the activities, they supposes to give us more time to enjoy the rides and the swings.
