The town of Manikaran is located at a height of about 1760 meters above sea level in Himachal Pradesh. Manikaran's summers are extremely cold like the rest of the year. Such months, though, are much more bearable than the monsoon or winter months from April to June. The temperature varies from 6 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius during the summer months, which means that it is necessary to bring appropriate supplies for the weather conditions.

Manikaran's monsoons last from July to September, and the temperature in these months does not exceed 10 degrees Celsius maximum. Winters in Manikaran

How to Reach

The nearest railway station is 300 km away in Pathankot. Through Kullu or Manali, one can also fly to Manikaran as these two tourist destinations are very similar to one another. You may hire a cab and numerous people on a vacation to Kasol prefer to visit Manikaran too. Manikaran is just a few kilometers from Kasol and the main road connecting these towns is easily accessible by local buses.

By Flight

From Bhuntar Airport, you can take a flight to Kullu Manali. Himachal Pradesh is 34.8 km away from the airport to Manikaran. You can reach Manikaran within an hour and a half in a local bus from Bhuntar. Airport - Chandigarh Airport (IXC)
