Pune To Himachal Pradesh By Air

By flight, it takes about 6 hours to travel from Pune till Himachal and there are no direct flights. You will have to take a flight from Lohegaon to Indira Gandhi Airport which takes about 2 hours. From the Indira Gandhi Airport take a flight till Chandigarh which take about an hour and 20 minutes. From here, you can now travel by cab or taxi till Shimla which takes about 1 hour and 43 minutes.

Pune To Himachal Pradesh By Rail

The journey by train from Pune till Himachal is quite a long one and takes about 33 hours. There are no direct trains from Pune till Himachal and you will have to travel by train from the Pune Junction till Chandigarh. From here, take a train to Kalka or Shimla which takes about half an hour to an hour. You can also travel by car or taxi from Chandigarh to Kalka or Shimla.

Pune To Himachal Pradesh By Road

The journey by road from Pune till Himachal takes a lot of time as there are no direct buses between these two destinations. You can travel by bus from Pune to Ahmedabad which takes about 10 hours. From Ahmedabad, you can take a bus till Delhi that takes about 16 hours. From here, you will have to take another bus till Shimla and this takes about 11 hours. The whole journey takes about 37 hours.
