Manikaran Holiday Packages
Why visit Manikaran Sahib?
Take a dip in the holy waters to get rid of pain and pangs. Located atop Himachal ranges, a lot of pilgrimage tourist options are available.
Best Time to Visit
The town of Manikaran is located at a height of about 1760 meters above sea level in Himachal Pradesh. With an average temperature of about 10 degrees, this spectacular height makes the atmosphere in this area exceptionally cold throughout the year. That's why many people prefer visiting during the summer season (April-June), when they don't feel like staying in to avoid the cold. The town is also renowned for its natural hot springs, which are scattered throughout the area, making it a prime place to visit. Winters are cold and harsh, but, also during these months, many people like to visit Manikaran.
Summers in Manikaran
Manikaran's summers are extremely cold like the rest of the year. Such months, though, are much more bearable than the monsoon or winter months from April to June. The temperature varies from 6 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius during the summer months, which means that it is necessary to bring appropriate supplies for the weather conditions.
Monsoons in Manikaran
Manikaran's monsoons last from July to September, and the temperature in these months does not exceed 10 degrees Celsius maximum. It means that there is more often than not, during the monsoon season, a torrent of rain falling in spurts throughout this region. Because rain will hamper your travel plans, during this time it is best not to visit Manikaran.
Winters in Manikaran
Manikaran's frigid winters, which lasts from November to March, may be the most idealistic time to visit the city. Manikaran lives in a gloomy darkness during these months, which is hard to overlook due to the sheets of snow that dig into the ground and make it almost inaccessible. In the winters, the temperature throughout Manikaran is as low as-8 degrees Celsius, which prohibits visitors from joining the wet, chattering air with teeth.
