ices were not as much cooperative as expected. I would suggest to include most imp tourist spots of bangkok/pattaya in basic package itself. Like we had a bangkok city tour in our package but reclining budha/watarun temple was not part of it. Better to have it included in basic packages which would improve customer satisfaction. But overall it was a good and hustle free experience.

Which days is the Krabi Town Night Market open?

It is a weekend market, open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings only. It does not run on weekday nights. If your dates fall midweek, the Ao Nang Landmark night market runs on most nights instead.

What time does Krabi night market open and close?

It opens around 5 pm and winds down by about 10 pm, with the busiest and best window between roughly 7 pm and 8 pm. Times shift a little by season and how busy the weekend is; check the timings page for the current hours.

Is there an entry fee for the Krabi Town Night Market?

No. Entry is free. You only pay for the food, drinks and crafts you buy, and most items sit in the 20 to 150 THB range (about Rs 57 to 428).

What food should I eat at Krabi night market?

Start with charcoal moo ping pork skewers and grilled seafood, then work through som tam, pad Thai and gai tod. Leave room for a banana roti, mango sticky rice, kanom krok coconut pancakes and a fresh fruit smoothie. Most dishes cost 20 to 80 THB.

How much does street food cost in Indian rupees?

Cheap. At about Rs 2.85 per THB, a pork skewer is roughly Rs 28 to 57, a roti about Rs 114, and grilled seafood Rs 171 to 570 depending on weight. Two people can eat well for under Rs 800.

On Soi Maharaj 8 in central Krabi Town, along the Krabi riverfront near the Maharaj Road and Vogue store area. It is a pedestrian-only lane, so once you are on it you just walk its length.

Krabi Town market vs Ao Nang night market: which is better?

The Krabi Town Weekend Market is bigger and stronger on street food, crafts and live performance, but only runs Friday to Sunday. The Ao Nang Landmark market is smaller, runs most nights, and is far handier if you are staying on the Ao Nang beach strip.

Can I pay by card or do I need cash?

Bring cash in Thai baht. Almost every stall is cash-only, and small notes are best because vendors rarely have change for large notes early in the evening. There are ATMs in central Krabi Town if you run short.

Is the Krabi Town Night Market worth visiting?

Yes, if you are in town on a weekend. It is the easiest, most local way to sample southern Thai street food, watch craft demonstrations and catch live music and fire shows in one free, walkable evening. Budget an hour and a half to two hours.

How do I get to the night market from Ao Nang or Krabi Town?
