Bungee Jumping in Pattaya, Thailand
Experience Bungee Jumping in Pattaya and get your adrenaline pumping
Rated 4.40/5 ( based on 6533 reviews )
TravelTriangle Thailand Team | Last updated: August 2026
Bungee jumping in Pattaya means one thing to most travellers: the 60-metre plunge at Xbungy, also known as Pattaya Bungy Jump, the highest bungee in Thailand. A single jump costs about THB 2,500 (roughly Rs 6,250) and includes your video, a certificate and insurance. It is one of the easiest big-ticket thrills to add to a Pattaya trip, and unlike the water sports along the beach it runs all year. This page covers the price in rupees, the operator’s safety record, the weight and age limits, timings and how to reach the tower, so you can book with your eyes open. For the wider picture, read our full guide to bungee jumping in Pattaya and the country-wide roundup of bungee jumping in Thailand.
Bungee Jumping in Pattaya: At a Glance
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Operator | Xbungy (also called Pattaya Bungy Jump) |
| Jump height | 60 metres, the highest in Thailand |
| Bungee price | THB 2,500 (about Rs 6,250) |
| Human slingshot | THB 1,400 (about Rs 3,500) for two launches |
| Timings | Daily, 10 AM to 5:30 PM (last jump slot) |
| Weight limit | 40 to 120 kg solo; up to 150 kg for a tandem couple |
| Minimum age | No fixed minimum set by Xbungy; under-18s need a guardian’s written consent, and every jumper must meet the 40 kg minimum weight |
| Best time to go | November to March |
| Location | Thep Prasit Road, Bang Lamung, Chon Buri |
| Time needed | About 1 to 1.5 hours including the briefing |
Price and What’s Included
Four of the five guides that rank for this activity name a price, and most stop at the Thai baht figure. Here is the same information with the rupee conversion an Indian traveller actually needs (calculated at about Rs 2.5 to the baht).
| Activity | Price (THB) | Approx. (INR) | What’s included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bungee jump (60 m) | 2,500 | ~6,250 | Jump, harness and gear, HD video, certificate, insurance |
| Human slingshot (90 m) | 1,400 | ~3,500 | Two launches, safety gear, insurance |
| Pattaya Park Tower jump (170 m) | 200 | ~500 | Rope descent from the tower (a separate operator in Jomtien) |
The THB 2,500 bungee price is fixed regardless of your weight, and there are no hidden add-ons: the video and certificate are part of the ticket. Insurance paperwork is signed on arrival, so carry a photo ID. You can see the current gate rates on the entry fees tab.
The Jump: What to Expect
The whole visit takes about an hour and a half. If you have never jumped before, the process is more relaxed than it looks from the ground.
• Check in and sign the consent and insurance form, then step on the scale so the crew can set the right cord.
• Sit through a short safety briefing where the team walks you through the harness and the jump signal.
• Get kitted out in a full-body harness with ankle ties, double-checked by two staff members.
• Ride up the 60-metre tower to the platform, which sits directly over the water pool.
• Jump. You free-fall toward the water, feel the cord catch, and rebound a few times before being lowered.
• Collect your certificate and download your HD video (kept live for three months).
Xbungy (Pattaya Bungy Jump): Safety and Track Record
According to the operator, Xbungy has run since 1989 and logged more than 500,000 jumps with a 100% safety record. Xbungy states that its tower, cords and harnesses are built and inspected to SANZ (Standards Association of New Zealand) standards, the same benchmark the sport’s original operators use. In practice that means every jumper is weighed, every harness is checked twice, and staff turn away anyone with a heart condition, high blood pressure, epilepsy or who has been drinking. A long record plus an independent safety standard is what separates it from the newer crane-based operators around Pattaya.
Our Thailand desk recommends booking a morning slot in the cool season. The wind picks up after midday, and queues are shortest before 11 AM. We check the prices and safety details on this page against the operator’s current listings.
Other Jumps in Pattaya
Xbungy is not the only way to fall in Pattaya. Two more options suit different nerves and budgets.
• Human Slingshot (Xbungy). Instead of falling, you are launched. Two people sit side by side and get catapulted to about 90 metres at roughly 150 kph in one second. It costs THB 1,400 (about Rs 3,500) for two launches and runs from the same site.
• Pattaya Park Tower jump. A 170-metre controlled rope descent from Pattaya Park Tower in Jomtien for about THB 200 (about Rs 500). It is a gentler, slower thrill than a true bungee, and a good warm-up if the 60-metre platform feels like a lot.
Best Time to Jump and How to Reach
Jump between November and March, the cool dry season, when the sky is clear and the wind is calm. The monsoon months from June to October can pause jumps on windy afternoons, so a morning slot is safer any time of year. Xbungy sits on Thep Prasit Road in Bang Lamung, about 15 minutes from central Pattaya Beach and roughly 150 km (about two hours) from Bangkok. Most packages include hotel pickup and drop within Pattaya. For station-by-station directions, see the how to reach tab, and check daily hours on the timings tab. If free-fall is not your only plan, skydiving over Pattaya and scuba diving round out the adventure list.

Pattaya Travel FAQs
How much does bungee jumping in Pattaya cost?
The 60-metre jump at Xbungy costs about THB 2,500 (roughly Rs 7,125), and that price includes your HD video, a certificate and insurance. The human slingshot is THB 1,400 (about Rs 3,990) for two launches. There are no hidden charges once you have paid the gate rate.
Is bungee jumping in Pattaya safe?
Xbungy states it has operated since 1989 with more than 500,000 jumps and a 100% safety record, and that its equipment is certified to New Zealand (SANZ) standards. Two staff members check every harness before you jump, and anyone with a heart condition, high blood pressure or epilepsy is not allowed to take part.
What is the weight limit for the Pattaya bungee jump?
A solo jumper should weigh between 40 and 120 kg. A couple jumping together can go up to a combined 150 kg. There is no separate charge for heavier jumpers, but the crew will weigh you on arrival to fit the correct cord.
What is the minimum age to bungee jump in Pattaya?
Xbungy does not publish a fixed minimum age; the practical limit is the 40 kg minimum weight. Travellers under 18 need a parent or guardian's written consent on the day, so carry ID. Some other Pattaya operators set a minimum age of 12, so confirm the rule when you book.
How high is the bungee jump in Pattaya?
The Xbungy tower is 60 metres, the highest bungee in Thailand. The human slingshot at the same site launches you to about 80 metres, and the separate Pattaya Park Tower rope jump drops 170 metres.
Do I get a video and certificate?
Yes. An HD video of your jump and a certificate are both included in the THB 2,500 price. The video is uploaded for you to download and stays live for about three months, so save it soon after your visit.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least two days before your slot for a full refund, or one day before for a 50% refund. Cancellations after that are usually non-refundable. Policies vary by booking channel, so check the terms when you book.
When is the best time of year to jump?
November to March, the cool dry season, is ideal for clear skies and calm wind. Whatever the month, book a morning slot: the wind is lighter and the queue is shorter before midday.
