Must-Have Experiences On A Honeymoon Trip To Manali And Shimla
Our couple trip to Shimla Manali was like a visit to a wintry paradise. From the way to the hotel, to the various tourist attractions, there was snow everywhere. It was a perfect experience.
Snowy Road To The Hotel
For someone who had never seen snow before, our Shimla honeymoon trip didn’t turn out to be just romantic but like a dream come true. Our journey started from Delhi and after a long journey when we reached Shimla, we were welcomed by snow all around. Our cab dropped us a km away from the hotel, and the walk in the snow was amazing. It was one of the most memorable parts of our trip. And when our trip began like this, I and my wife were just looking forward for the days to come.

Visit The Winter Wonderland Of Kufri
Our other amazing experience on this trip was of snow covered Kufri. Around 15 km away from Shimla, the ride to this quaint hill station was beautiful. There was snow all around and the landscape looked gorgeous. The white snow made everything around look serene and peaceful. But the surprise that we got was after reaching the base at Kufri. There were horses that one could hire to reach uphill and the rates were too high. But do not miss the horse ride because every penny is worth that amazing short journey.
At times, it was scary too, but the ride was thrilling. Horses move one after another and it is a beautiful site with people going uphill and coming downhill on these sturdy horses. It was an experience that I am glad we had. Once we reached atop the hill, it was a beautiful site. We enjoyed the views all around. It was snow all around and we had a great time here. The weather was amazing and we really liked it.

Excursion To The Beautiful Solang Valley
Our next destination after Shimla was Manali. Here we visited Solang Valley. Earlier I thought that Kufri was the most beautiful that a place could get in winters, but Solang surpassed it easily. It was beautiful beyond words. There were a lot of tourists here, and the place was quite lively. There were a lot of adventure activities taking place here. People were paragliding and enjoying in the snow. We clicked a few pictures too. The weather though cold, was really nice. And we had a lot of fun at Solang valley.

Manali City Tour
We also visited a few places in the city on our Manali trip. We visited Hidimba Devi Temple, one of the top tourist attractions here. It has been also shot in some Bollywood movies, and we were excited to visit it. Later that day we also visited Vashisht Hot Sulphur springs. It is said that these springs have healing properties, and we were more than happy to go here on our Shimla Manali trip. We also got some time to visit the local market. We headed to the famous Mall road and shopped for some woolen clothes. My wife bought pretty shawls and we got a few souvenirs to get back home from our memorable couple trip to Shimla Manali.
