How to Reach?

By Air:

Kullu-Manali Airport is the nearest airport to Solang Valley. A local taxi from the airport will take you to the valley in around 2.5 hours.

By Rail:

Solang Valley can be reached after taking a cab from Joginder Nagar Railway Station which is the nearest station.

By Road:

Manali is accessible through the various buses that regularly run from Delhi. Manali is 548 kilometres away from Delhi and after that, Solang Valley can be reached by cab or taxi or take your own car!

This tour was only for Cab - Pathankot pick up - Dharamshala Sight Seeing and Srinagar Drop. 1st Cab Ertiga of Pradeep Ji was nice and He managed to cover the points even our arrival got delayed (Train) He dropped us till Jammu and then arrange another Cab to drop at Srinagar that cab was not good

an old Inova with no seat belt and covers. The overall costing was more as the package was only for Cab and not stay. Thanks for serving us. Dharamshala Sight Seeing

The tour was nice, Planning was good. Costing is OK Day1 : Srinagar Sight Seeing and Shikara ride was nice experience. We were expected 3 separate Shikara but got 2 only. Hotel : New Classic Resort was nice but there is limited staff and service is slow for Dinning and other stuff Day 2 : Gulmarg

Site seeing was nice experience but separate Cab need to be book to reach upto Gandola ride which was not conveyed earlier. We have been told that the Gondola ride stop is at walking distance where Tour Cab will drop us. Hotel : Anarkali Houseboat Stay - was nice and the staff is very helpful (Mr. Bilal) We have been committed for Candle light Dinner at HB but it was missing but the food was nice. Day 3 : Kesar Farm, Apple Valley and other Pahalgam sight seeing was nice Hotel : Frozen Leaf at Pahalgam was Avg. Property (2*) but the service and food was nice. Day 4 : Departure for Airport and on the way Sight Seeing and Shopping was nice Lastly but not the least - Mr. Asif who was our Driver and Tour Guide is nice and humble person. He managed to cover all the points and places even we got delayed in starting our tour because of late arrival. Asif's Inova (Raftar) is nice and comfortable cab and his driving is good. We enjoyed the food (Dinner) served during the Hotel or HB stays. The Cab and driver provided for tour is really nice. Gulmarg Sight Seeing and Gondola ride was best experience.

Our recent experience with the agency was mixed due to several issues: Driver working hours – There was no clear mention of the driver’s working timings in the itinerary or booking details. This led to confusion and inconvenience during the trip. According to him his timings were from 6 am to 8 pm

which we were not informed at the timing of booking or later also. Chandigarh itinerary – The planned schedule for Chandigarh was unrealistic and could not be followed as promised. I had even pointed out the same but yet was told that those activities were possible. This reflects poor planning and lack of practical consideration for travel time and feasibility. Hotel selection – On a positive note, the hotels chosen were well-selected and provided a comfortable stay, which was the highlight of the trip.

Anjani Mahadev Temple:

The Anjani Mahadev Temple is a 2-kilometre trek away from the Solang Valley. After trekking a couple of kilometres, you will get to witness the Anjani Mahadev Shiva Linga, which is a majestic formation of ice that appears out of thin air every year. Offer your prayers here and get in touch with your spiritual side.

Beas River:

The cold, clear Beas River flows along the Solang Valley. An idle hour or two spent by the river can offer you the perfect gateway to self-introspection. You can also spot many small fish swimming gracefully in the water.

Piccadily Multiplex:

If you’re a movie-buff, don’t miss out on the latest movie release on account of your tour here. A little further from the Solang Valley, you can visit the Piccadily Multiplex and enjoy a movie or two.

Picnic Spot:

Things To Do

Paragliding:

Paragliding is the highlight of all the activities in Solang Pass. For high flight, the experience time is 9 - 15 minutes and for short flight, you will be in the air for 2 - 3 minutes.

Ropeway:

Cover 1.8 kilometres while in a cabin supported by ropes. For 10 minutes, you will travel down the line while looking down on the other tourists below.

Tuberide:

If you’re up for some unconventional activity, Tuberide is the perfect option. Seated in a tube tyre, you will be pushed down a snowy slope and the slide downwards is sure to excite you.

Skiing:

No tour of a place blessed with snow is complete with skiing.

Snow scooter:

Hop on a snow scooter and traverse 400m - 500m around the Solang Valley. If you’re a couple, you can opt for the two-seater scooter or if you’re a bachelor/spinster you can opt for the one-seater scooter.

Hot Air Balloon Ride:
