It is situated about 4 kilometres from the bus station. You can also hail a taxi outside the gate of the Air Force station and then walk towards Manki Point. It takes 15 minutes to go up and back from the mountain.
By Air – The nearest airport to Kasauli is Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, (Chandigarh) from where you can either book a cab or a private car to reach Kasauli.
By Train – The nearest railway station would be Kalka which is 40 km away. It takes approximately an hour to reach Kasauli. The popular choice here is the Toy Train which is a very lively experience to have in Shimla.
