Chandrashila means ‘moon rock’. It is the highest point of the mountain where you can find the temple of Lord Shiva, and the Chopta valley itself. Chandrashilla is located a little higher than the Tungnath Temple at 4000 metres above sea level. If one wishes to sightsee, this point in the mountain is the perfect place to do so.
