This lake is the largest glacier lake in the entire country of Czech Republic. It is located in the Bohemian Forest near the village of Zelezna Ruda. It is named as the Black Lake because the water of the lake reflects the dark colors of the forest surrounding it and also the depth of the lake adds to the dark effect that the water creates. Apart from being one of the largest lakes in Czech Republic, it is definitely one of the most stunning lakes among the others in the Bohemian Forest. Hlucin Lake is another natural lake located on the outskirts of Hlucin town in the Czech Republic. This beautiful lake covers an area of 130 ha and the on the banks of the lake you will find a nice recreation spot. Located in the center of the Nature Reserve of Rejiviz, the lake is surrounded by bog pines and many rare carnivorous plants.
