2. Dinh Cau Rock

Dinh Cau Rock is also known as Cua Temple. It was constructed in 1937 to pay respect to the Goddess of the sea to protect fishermen heading out of sea. This beautiful natural formation is located beside Duong Dong Fishing Harbour which is accompanied by a Buddhist shrine with a rooftop terrace and lighthouse.

To reach the top of temple you have to go through 29 winding stones. While walking though stones you will get amazing sunset views of Duong Dong Town, Dinh Cau Beach and neighbouring islets.
There is no entrance charge to Dinh Cau Rock, Vietnam and you can get plenty of food and beverage.

3. Duong Dong Market

Duong Dong Market is one of the largest outdoor markets in the Island which is known to have wide range of fresh produce. Early morning is the best time to roam around the market for buying household items, freash seafoods, fruits and more items. The market offers a number of things at affordable price. Vietnamese cuisine is at relatively genuine prices. The market is close to Duong Dong Port, where you can see how sea food collects by local vendor.

4. Suoi Tranh Waterfall

Very little surface of Phu Quoc island has moisture, but still many springs originating in the mountains. Out of all the springs the most easily reached is Suoi Tranh waterfall. It is made up from tiny streams that originated from Ham Ninh mountains.

Along with natural environment you can enjoy recreational activities like picnicking, bird-watching, camping, etc. with little walking ways. 5. Sung Hung Pagoda

The next most visiting place on Phu Quoc Island is Sung Hung Pagoda. It was established in 10th century where you can see the combination of two shrines. Sung Hung Pagoda is one of the oldest places on the island.

In the front courtyard, there is a statue of the Goddess of Mercy Mercy standing in the middle of a lotus pond, plenty of Bodhi trees and , potted plants. Its three-storey main prayer hall contains three Buddha statues of Amitabha, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva and elaborative paintings of Buddhist mythical creatures and legends. What’s more is that there’s no entry fee is for this place.
