Kerala Trip: Best Time To Visit Kerala

Blessed with balmy weather throughout the year, an excursion to Kerala—snuggled in the southern part of India—can be a great choice, anytime. However, the winter season, falling between October and March, can be concluded as a perfect duration for a tour to Kerala. Let’s look at the below season-wise segregation to decide on the perfect time for a Kerala vacation. Elevate your experience with our thoughtfully curated Kerala trip packages, ensuring your journey is seamless and filled with memorable moments.

Summer (April - June)

With hot weather and evening showers adding humidity to the environment, the summer season cannot be recommended for a visit to Kerala. The temperature hovering between 32 degrees and 36-degree Celsius, makes it one of the hottest periods of the region.

However, this can be a great time for a budget vacation, and a tour to beautiful hill stations such as Idukki, Munnar, Palakkad, and Wayanad.

Monsoon (July - September)

Cherish the arrival of the monsoon with a visit to Kerala when the temperature ranges from 19 degrees to 30-degree celsius. With rampant showers, the period of monsoon let tourists enjoy the view of cascading waters and a lush green environment. So, this can be a great time to waking up to enchanting views and having a rejuvenating time while availing services of some of the best Ayurveda centres based here.

Set off for a tour with our Kerala tour package from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore; and choose to visit Ayurvedic centres, like Kalari Kovilakom in Kollengode, Somatheeram Ayurvedic Beach Resort in Kovalam and other famous centres for best experiences.

Winter (October - March)

And, here comes the best season to visit the southern part of India with the onset of delightful winters. As the temperature hovers between 18 degrees and 29-degree Celsius and the sunshine mildly, here settles perfect weather for Kerala sightseeing. Do visit places, like Kovalam, Thekkady, Alleppey, Munnar, and Kumarakom; enjoy houseboating and a lot more for a wonderful experience in Kerala.

But, bear in mind that this period is the peak season for Kerala Holidays. And hence, it is advised to book our exclusive Kerala trip packages in advance.

Kerala Tourism: How to Reach?

By Air

Housing three international airports, the Calicut International Airport in the north, the Kochi International Airport in the centre, and the Trivandrum International Airport in the south; Kerala has very good air connectivity. A convenient option for both international and domestic travelers, the place can be easily accessed via boarding a flight to Kerala. However, Indian citizens can also board a flight from numerous domestic airports that connect Kerala with other states. Post arrival at the airport, one can choose to hop on a train or a taxi to reach their specific destination. Kerala package with flight option is available on our website to make traveling to Kerala easier for travelers.

By Train

Crammed with around 200 railway stations, there are frequent train services that can be availed to reach Kerala. Major railway stations of the state are Kovalam, Trivandrum, Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Kottayam, and more. One can board a train from prominent Indian cities like Coimbatore, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata to Kerala. And later, hire a cab or an auto to reach their desired venue.

By Road

Being well-connected to neighbour states through roadways, it has three major highways: NH 17, NH 47, and NH 49 that make it easy for travelers to visit Kerala. Besides hiring a cab or opting for a road tour, one can also board a private or government bus from major cities of India to reach Kerala.

By Sea

Choose to travel via sea, on a Kerala trip plan and have a luxurious experience. Connected with Lakshadweep, the state has a busy port from where one can find transport to get to their destination. However, traveling en route sea can be time consuming and expensive.

Akash's 7 days trip to Kerala

Overall good experience, except food constraints always remain there specially for people travelling from north, west & central India . Won't get much variety in breakfast as people in south are heavily dependent on Non veg items, and for veg they serve Idli , dosa, idiyappam, appam, utpam everyday. everyhotel has indoor kitchen facility , except Curly woods resort (Thekeddy) , which in turns makes things little inflexible in ordering. Elephant ride with fountain is the best part of the trip Beautiful all time weather because of premonsoon with gradual drizzling 24x7 round the clock. Kalaripayattu steals the show . Overall good experience

Rajeeb's 4 days trip to Kerala

I booked the package tour before I month of my Tour. I was very excited about this tour. My tour was from Aluva (Kerela) to Munnar and Thekaddy in Kerala. It was a road trip from Aluva. I will give my genuine Feedback. I had a discussion with Mr. Digipal Jee from Travel Triangle and Mr. Ankit from the local travels company. I would like to say that the vehicle (Desire) which was assigned to me was not up to the mark. The AC was not working properly. The temperature was very high but anyways I managed. But my Blood pressure was high when the driver asked me money for petrol. They don't even have the communication that I have paid the entire amount to Travel Triangle two days back. Thereafter I called my so called agent Mr. Digipal Jee and Ankit Jee, thereafter the issue got resolved. This shows that they are not professionals and Poor Communication between their travel agents and travel triangle. My Hotel bookings in Munnar was at "Hotel Star Emirates" it was a 4 Star Property but here also the same issue no communication on the payment matter. The receptionist asked me about the payment and here also I called Mr. Digipal Jee and Ankit and clarified that the entire amount has been paid to Travel Triangle before two days back. My family was suffering and we waited for 1 hour for Check-in. Poor Co-ordination. Now review on Room. I stayed their for 2 Nights and till my entire stay the Intercom (A Major source of Communication within the Hotel) was not working. When I complained they just told that it will be rectified soon. But till my checkout the Phone was out of order. They gave me duty manager's contact number and asked I can call in this number if anything is required. But when my son tried calling in this number to order Noodles for him the phone was not responding at that time. I waited for 10 mins in my room but i didn't recieved any kind of response form the hotel end. It was my big mistake to book my Package from Travel Triangle. I am sorry I will never repeat this mistake once Again. They also charged me Rs. 1000 extra because my son's actual age was 13 instead of I mentioned 12 Years while booking this package. The Gentleman from Travel Triangle Mr. Digipal Jee called me directly and asked to pay Rs. 1000 extra at Hotel only because my son is 1 year more elder than what I register. My point is I managed lot of non-cooperation from the travel agent but they can't managed a single mistake from my end. Thanks Travel Triangle for all this....I will never ever repeat this kind of mistake in my life.

Hiteshvijay's 4 days trip to Kerala

It was a pleasant experience, very well organised and very helpful people. Hotels at munnar was little far away from Munnar, however it was good. The cab person and the car quality was excellent. The Breakfast items at Munnar was a bit concern as very limited options. It is better to book hotels without breakfast, as it is too costly. Overall a good experience and can again plan with you.

Rvaishya's 5 days trip to Kerala

Overall it was a well organised trip. Thanks Comforts for taking care of travel and setting up the iteniary. Hotels were clean and comfortable except the Houseboat. Only thing I wished it could have been better would be stay and good in Houseboat. Very limited option in Houseboat. Food didn't had any variety. Also, I booked honeymoon decoration which was missed by the houseboat team. Overall, it was good. Appreciate driver which took us most of the places as in iteniary. Munnar was excellent. Driver was friendly as well.
