There is a deluge of tourists in the month of January, February, and April and the prices for hotels and tickets are hiked in these months. Pre-booking of these amenities is suggested to save your precious bucks. The park is closed in the months of June all the way through September for the process of forest recovery.

Entrance Fees to the Park: 400 Baht for Adults and 200 Baht for foreigners. 40 Baht for Adults and 20 Baht for children is chargeable for locals.

How to reach Phu Kradueng National Park?

As mentioned earlier, the park does not witness a large number of foreign tourists due to its remote location. But the best ways to get to the park are mentioned herein to help the traveller visiting through any modes of transportation:

By Car: From Bangkok, one can head north on highway-1 and then turn east on highway-2. While reaching midway between Pak Chong and Nakhon Ratchasima, take a left and head on highway 201 north. The total distance is around 500km. Moreover, it is possible to park the car at any designated spot for a few days as it is guarded at all times.

By Train: One can take a train from Hualamphong Railway Station to Khaon Kaen Railway Station. Once detrained, one can take a bus to Phu Kradeung and take a songthaew to a park.

By Bus: A person can take a bus to Loei and debus at the Mo Chit Bus Station 2 and get off at Phu Nok Khao and take a songthaew to the park.
