1. Anse Source D’ Argent

5. Chateau St. Cloud
This is basically a building turned into a hotel located in the centre of La Digue. It is located 10 minutes away from the beach and is right at the foot of the only mountain that this island has.
Once being a vanilla farm, was later converted into a small delightful hotel by the owners. It is now owned by the Saint Ange Family. This hotel was named after a small town of France, St. Cloud.
A tourist can have a splendid view of the local granite formation and the very few existing coco de mer trees that are present on this island. Also, one may come across the giant tortoises that roam on this land.

8. Veuve Reserve
It is present in the interior of the island and is a home to the rarely seen paradise flycatcher. This is a species which is almost endangered and only 100 of them are in existence at present. These species include terrapins, moorhens and fruit bats.
It is basically a small forest reserve which provides shelter to approx 15 pairs of birds. There is also a small information centre surrounded by flora and fauna of this place. So, in general, it is a great place for bird sightings.

9. Nid d’Aigle
It is La Digue’s tallest peak with a summit of more than 300m (980 ft) above the sea level. This place is also called the Eagle’s nest mountain.
Tourists come here to have the sensational view of the island for the top of that land. To get there, one can follow the inland concrete road form La Passé to Snack Bellevue. From there, follow a narrow path that leads to an intersection point and then take right and keep walking until the sight is reached.
