Satyapal's 8 days trip to Goa

Had the advisor done his home work well, it could have been great. I enjoyed water sports alos but the co-ordination was always missing. In evening unsure what will happen in morning as no infirmation was shared proactively. I had to follow up too often for managing the travels. Can make it more interesting.

Varun's 2 days trip to Goa

The second day 10 am, when the trip is about to get started the cab driver said that he has not given any confirmation from his manager. Then I have to call Farhan from travel triangle to know about the situation. Then he called his contacts at Goa and then cab driver got the confirmation. It would have been good if that small hiccup is avoided. Apart from that Farhan did very well regarding all the itinerary and arrangements.

Come Back For: Will definitely go back to Goa to spend quality time with my family

After working hard for the entire year, I eagerly wait for the time when I can leave my work for some time and spend my quality time with my family. I have admired Goa as a travel destination for long and wanted to plan a trip there with my wife and kid. While surfing through travel websites, I saw Goa packages by TravelTriangle. After contacting them and going through their itineraries, I selected the best Goa trip package for my family and started packing our bags. The excitement on my wife’s and kid’s faces was a sight to see owing to which we went to the Candolim Beach on the first day itself. With the help of TravelTriangle we got to explore several places in Goa including Fort Aguada, Calangute, Coco Beach, Shantadurga Temple, Anjuna Beach, Old Goa Basilica of Bom Jesus, Dona Paula Jetty and Panjim Market. We also got a chance to include the Bollywood Tour or Filmi Chakkar which acknowledges all the famous movies which have been shot at that place. Apart from this, we booked a boat tour on the Mandovi River and later gave a whole day to relax and unwind in Goa. I cannot thank enough to TT for booking such an amazing for us.

So, while on a trip to Goa, travelers must indulge in these activities to add a dash of adventure to their laid-back beach vacation.

1. Sightseeing

Goa is a hub of beaches like Anjuna, Calangute, Baga, Candolim and Coco. One cannot go back without exploring the beaches of Goa. Apart from this, there are many forts to explore here like Aguada, Chapora and Cabo which gives an authentic feel to the place.

2. Hot Air Balloon

3. Jet Skiing

To quench your thirst for adventure, head for water sports in Goa like jet skiing. This activity is made for speed lovers and guess what you don’t need to be an expert to ride these machines. Beaches like Anjuna, Baga, Colva and many more offer this activity to travel enthusiasts.

4. Banana Boat Rides

Considered as one of the funniest water sports, banana boat rides are usually offered by people of every age and gender. A speed boat drags an inflated boat, which resembles a banana, and throws off the passengers in the sea. For safety reasons, passengers are given life jackets.

5. Water Scooter

Water scooter is another water activity you can indulge in to beat the heat in the state. Water scooters can only accommodate two passengers at a time. While riding the scooter, enjoy the waves of the sea on your body.

6. Pub Hopping

When visiting Goa, can the thought of pub hopping be far behind? There are two ways to enjoy a bout of pub hopping. The first one would be to identify the most popular ones in Goa, and visit them, no matter how far or out of the way they are. Or, one can simply identify the pubs or nightclubs near one’s place of stay and visit them. The former would ensure covering all the popular places of Goa, whereas the latter would ensure one gets to make their own memories and judgements. Choose wisely!

7. Moonlight Kayaking

At Bambolim Beach, moonlight kayaking is a major attraction. This activity is meant only for expert swimmers, and pro kayakers because it is done at night with only the moonlight to guide you and also because of the tides rising at night. Kayaks are available for rent during the day, and a simple conversation and an advance on the rent would help a visitor secure one for the night.<

8. Cycling at Charao Island

Charao Island is one of the hidden delights of Goa, thanks to it being located far from main portions of Goa . However, with its amazing landscape and proximity to several tourist attractions, it is a good idea to visit this place. Best part is that one can also enjoy a ride on the Ferry with their bicycles while using the Comburpha Ferry. On the way, one can also visit Divar Island, Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and the Harvalem Waterfalls and Caves, among various other attractions.

9. Rafting at Valpoi River

Rafting is also a fun activity to indulge in, be it on Goa’s coastal rivers or on the mountainous streams of Uttarakhand. On the Valpoi river, rafting and cliff jumping are quite popular, and a trip can be arranged by the hotel or guides themselves. The activity generally lasts from mid-morning to late afternoon, and is best indulged in during the monsoon months. The entire rafting trip covers around 10 kms of the river, with several class 2 and 3 rapids making their appearance along the way. Totally thrilling!

10. Parasailing

Parasailing is another great way to get the adrenaline flowing in your systems. In Goa, parasailing is available at most public beaches. While the costs can differ from beach to beach, the attraction remains the same: the turquoise Arabian Sea spread beneath, with the sugary sun-kissed beach bordering it. Before going parasailing, make sure to follow all guidelines and instructions given by the guides.

11. Learn Surfing

Although surfing in Goa is not that popular an activity, possibly because the height of the waves here are not conducive to pro surfing. But that’s a good thing because Goa can be termed to be the “best place to learn surfing” in India. There are quite a few surfing schools here that offer courses and certification. The equipment provided is world class, if approaching the right training institutions. The best time to enjoy surfing is the dry season, since the rains interfere with the sails and the wind velocity. Away from the public and prying eyes, Baga Beach, Morjim Beach, Ashvem Beach and Arambol Beach are great places to try your hand at it.

12. Quad Biking

Of dirt paths and off-tracking, Quad bikes are a good way to get the adrenaline flowing. And in Goa, it is a great idea to hire a quad bike and enjoy a scintillating ride on any of the several dirt bike and quad bike tracks here. The best time to do it would be the months of November to January. Summers would be too hot to contemplate such an action, whereas the monsoons would add a risk and uncertainty factor to the entire activity.

13. Chasing Dolphins

Even if swimming with the dolphins is not a possibility in Goa, surely watching them do their special triple somersaults among the waves comes a close second. Dolphin spotting in Goa is an experience to be cherished, especially because these adorable and friendly sea creatures manage to steal everybody’s hearts as soon as they see them. These cruises take off from the shore, and stop a few feet into the ocean to let people enjoy the sight of the frolicking dolphins.

14. Cruise with Dinner and Dance

A dinner cruise in Goa, along with the promise of enjoying either a traditional dance performance or a simple orchestra is a great way to enjoy the evening. Imagine standing on the deck, with the sunset right ahead of you on the horizon and the waves lapping alongside the boat. What can be a better way to beat the heat during summers, and to enjoy the rains during monsoons. On most cruises, dinner and cocktails or mocktails are served whereas as some only concentrate on the performances and shows. Make sure to find out which one strikes the fancy of the ubiquitous tourist.

15. Cookery Class

The heady aroma of Konkan cooking, Goan spices and an atmosphere redolent with sizzling sounds is what the Goa cooking scene is all about. Who wouldn't want to take some of that sizzle home with them? In Goa, cookery classes are available for people from all walks of life, be it a five star hotel or the friendly neighborhood restaurant server.
