This 48-site roadside campsite is a fantastic base for exploring the park and its immediate surroundings for the roadside tourist. There is a kitchen shelter, garbage and recycling bins, a fireplace, picnic tables, bear-proof lockers and caches, outhouses and water from the stream or holding tank. For paragliding a few kilometres past the Interpretive Centre, take a right on the dirt road. The road overlooks the area of the Interpretive Centre, a decent first flight site. There is plenty of moss for a soft landing.

The access road is very often snow – covered until the last week of May, making the start of the lookout inaccessible by car. A low launch can be accessed by car by mid-May, but the path is rather soft and muddy.
