Regina talks about her 2 Nights 3 Days trip to Rajasthan that she took with her friend. She elaborates on the extraordinary sightseeing that they did in the “Pink City”. She booked their package from TravelTriangle and it included their cab, hotel, breakfast, and sightseeing – all for a cost of INR 12,500/-

My friend and I wanted to visit Jaipur since a long time however due to our busy schedules, we were unable to do so. So finally, this time, when we both had the opportunity, we decided to go for it and see the beautiful ‘Pink City’ and all its charms.

We found TravelTriangle on Facebook and finding the 2 Night 3 Day Jaipur Tour Package to be perfectly aligned with our schedule, decided to go for it. The whole process of booking the package was a smooth one and in no time, we were already sorted with our itinerary and sightseeing plans.

Day 1: Road Journey from Delhi to Jaipur and sightseeing

Sightseeing places in Jaipur

As per schedule, the driver picked us up from our place in Delhi at around 6:30am and we reached Jaipur by 12pm. The journey was fine and upon our arrival, we checked into our hotel and rested for a while.

Around 1pm, we began our sightseeing and the driver took us to see the famous Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Both of these places were fabulous and exuded fine architecture and a historical charm that is hard to match.

Next up was Albert Hall and Birla Temple, again awesome experiences that reminded us the kind of heritage Jaipur held. Post this, we visited the famous village resort – Chokhi Dhani.

This village resort was an interesting experience and showcased the life of rural and villages in a beautiful manner. There were shops for handicrafts, games, swings, haunted house, shows, and even camel rides for entertainment.

The food experience here, however, was a mixed one since we did not really like the cuisine and also because the restaurant was overcrowded and our turn came almost after 3 hours.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Jaipur

Regina and her friend in Nahargarh Fort

This morning, after a quick breakfast, we visited the Amber Fort. This place was an excellent experience and we even did an elephant ride here. Post the fort visit, we had our lunch and then paid a visit to the Nahargarh Fort. The view from the top of this fort was breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the sunset here.

After this, we rode downhill and visited the Lake Mahal that was on our way. This was followed by a visit to the local market where we also did some shopping. Overall, the day was full of adventure and interesting experiences and we really enjoyed a lot.

Day 3: The journey back home

Regina and her friend chill in Jaipur

This day post breakfast, we started our road journey back to Delhi.

Jaipur was a very good short holiday experience for us. It was near Delhi, had amazing monuments to explore, and was full of royal and cultural charm that is hard to find anywhere else. The people of the city were really hospitable and our driver was very knowledgeable and understanding too. Overall, the trip was a nice escape from the usual bustles of daily life and offered us a refreshing holiday experience.

High Points:

  • Our driver was knowledgeable, understanding, courteous, and an excellent guide. He made our trip worthwhile.
  • Sightseeing in Jaipur especially the forts was an amazing experience for us.

Low Points:

  • The food arrangements in Chokhi Dhani could have been better.

Tips for travelers: Going through TravelTriangle was an excellent decision for us since everything was customized as per our schedule. I would recommend travelers to go through a similar approach when visiting Jaipur since there are many places to visit here and you can choose the ones you like.

The royal charm of Jaipur cannot be found anywhere else! Book a holiday to Rajasthan and go on a delightful journey full of grandeur, royalty, and historical attractions!
