Why is Amber Fort Famous?

The Amber Fort is famous as once it used to be the capital of dynasty before Jaipur. The outside of palace is built with red sandstone and marble that adds to the ancient history for architecture of famous monument which has influence of both Hindu and Muslim rulers. History of Amber Fort

Built by a series of the Rajput kings of Jaipur, this used to be the capital of their dynasty. The grand and beautiful architecture that can be observed at Amber fort is in the classical Hindu style, with giant ramparts, a number of different gates and cobbled streets on the inside. The Amer ka Kila has been declared as a World Heritage site and as such is now maintained quite well.
