Tourist Places In Vietnam
Nestling comfortably between the South China Sea in the east and Laos and Cambodia to the west, Vietnam is home to beautiful landscapes and dazzling cities. Spread all over the country; there are numerous places to visit in Vietnam.
Here are the best Vietnam places to visit among them all:
1. Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Hanoi
The capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi houses one of the most visited Vietnam attractions – the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh himself. Ho Chi Minh is the former president and the first prime minister of Vietnam, and also the founder of Vietnamese Communist Party and the country’s most important political leader. The monumental marble structure in Hanoi is grand, historic and considered as a sacred place, because of Ho Chi Minh’s contribution towards Vietnam’s history. The place has a strict dress code and is guarded 24x7 by the military. The Change of Guards ceremony is worth witnessing.
2. War Remnant Museum, Ho Chi Minh City
Vietnam has been right in the middle of both of the world wars, and then witnessed the famous Vietnam War in the last century. The War Remnant Museum houses various relics of these wars and more from the history. Armoured vehicles, firearms, tanks, infantry and artillery weapons and pictures of those eras are preserved in this museum. True to its name, the museum is really a place where the remnants of the wars fought are kept. It is one of the best Vietnam destinations to visit to know about the history of Vietnamese warfare.
3. My Son Sanctuary
My Son is the name of an archaeological site, rich in historical significance. Surrounded by the lush tropical greenery of Vietnam, My Son is what remains of the ancient capital of the Champa Kingdom. This Cham Era city has multiple temples, built between the 4th century and 14th century AD, dedicated to Hindu gods and goddesses – mostly Shiva. The architectural style of My Son Sanctuary reflects the artistic heritage of multiple Asian cultures – Indian, Chinese, Malay and more. It is a unique and historically enriching part of Vietnam sightseeing.
4. Hoi An
Located in Central Vietnam, this vintage riverside city is one of the must-visit Vietnam points of interest. The layout of this ancient town, dating back to almost 2000 years, is a perfect marriage of the east and the west. Originally a city of the Champa Kingdom, Hoi An has over the years collected footprints of the Chinese, Japanese, Indian and French heritage. Hindu and Buddhist temples, colonial-style wooden houses and the crisscrossing of canals and winding lanes make up the fabric of Hoi An. It is a perfectly serene town to walk around, take in the aesthetic beauty of the place and do some shopping in the quaint shops and boutiques selling clothes, shoes, accessories and quirky souvenirs to take back home.
5. Cham Island
Vietnam tourist attractions are not all about history and culture. The country has some brilliant natural bounty to show off as well. Cham Island, locally known as Cu Lao Cham, is a small but picturesque island in the South China Sea off the eastern coast. It can be accessed from Hoi An easily on a 30 minutes’ speedboat ride. The pristine island is known for scuba diving, cruising, snorkelling and other beach activities.

Trip to VietnamSophie from Bamboo Hats was always available on phone and attended to all our needs and expectations. From the preparation of the itinerary, suggestions, internal flights and she was always checking if everything was ok. Since it was just 2 girls travelling, we were worried about the safety, however Sophie assured and ensured we were in safe places and hotels. Thanks a lot! Best memories were all of them. One thing I would like to appreciate was that we missed the bus which was supposed to be taking us for a city tour. When we contacted Sophie she ensured we got into the bus back. This is something which is unforgettable.
Trip to VietnamTour is good, well programmed, loved it. But Asia travel people are not well conversant, example....when one flight was cancelled they don't know what is to be done, they simply mislead people. Hope good sense will prevail, with these limited knowledge the show can be brought under many questions. Ha long trip is simply awesome. Other also not bad. We have enjoyed.

Trip to CambodiaHi, I planned a 10 days trip with Kyork Travel agent- Ratana and Travel Triangle agent - Karan , for Vietnam and Cambodia. The planning was seamless, they talked to me to understand my requirements and quickly created an itinerary for me. We went through a couple of round of revisions in those itineraries which were quickly reflected to the shared pdf. The communication was very apt and direct. I got detailed plan and requisite documents list before the travel. At the location as well the services were impeccable. The package that we booked included tour agents and they were very cordial and welcoming. We were really happy with the trip and the way it was planned with us. Thanks Karan and Ratana for your amazing assistance. I would definitely recommend KYork and Travel Triangle.
Trip to VietnamThe itenieary could have been much better . We were free on some days which could have been covered with other places . Like golden dragon bridge , beaches in the city . So instead of giving such a long free time you guys could have suggested with some other good places . I will definitely suggest you guys but please work on the itenieary more so that person who is going can make a most of it in the trip . Overall had few good experiences and learnt about a new culture.
Trip to VietnamWe had a very good experience with travel triangle regarding our vacation to Cambodia and Vietnam! A special appreciation to Rakhi and also the agent she suggested Mr Eric from Vietnam. They were available whenever we required, cleared all our doubts then and there with so much of patience and was very systematic. They handled the entire trip very well. Hang long Bay and Vietnamese Foods
Trip to VietnamIt was great the entire experience of Vietnam. Thanks to travel triangle for the arrangements we had no issues during the trip. Would like to take up another holiday with you guys again :)
Trip to VietnamIt was really memorable trip and had great time. Will always recommend this trip to everyone. Really commendable arrangements. Thanks again LVP Travel - an excellent travel agency in Vietnam.
Trip to VietnamWe had a good trip with travel triangle TT Radhika was very supportive in decision making & helping although she left, we didn’t got such passion & support from her substitute Megha. Somehow we went ahead with TT as Eric frm Asia Authentic was very responsive. We had a good trip , only constructive feedback which we wish to give that our trip was planned little awkward as we wasted time for Visa in Thailand which is of no use as same day we went Vietnam. No one has guided us about that . Hotel at Danang was OK not very good as we expected sea resort . Taxi we got twice poor having uncomfortable seats . We wud have preferred a little descent ones to take rest in transit . Cruise at Halong Bay was spelendid Specially Kayaking & scenic beauty. Bana Hill Trip was also good Hotel Siam Bayshore was good.
