1. The Kaaimans Waterfall

Located between the towns of George and wilderness, the Kaaimans Waterfall is one of the best attractions in the city. The Kaaimans waterfall can be accessed via the Kaaimans pass which is amazingly beautiful. The pass is very steep and the winding Kaaimans River can be accessed from the bottom of the pass. You can also avail a car parking facility out here where you can park your vehicle.

2. Pepsi Pool

The name Pepsi Pool was given to this waterfall due to its dark tea colored water. In order to reach this beautiful destination, you can take a 30 minutes’ walk from the Nelson Mandela University after parking your vehicles there. The road to the waterfall passes through an indigenous Fynbos and pine plantation. You can also spot troops of baboons on your way. However, they are extremely shy of humans. Other than that you can also spot few leopards and bushbuck in the rocky mountains.

The route to the waterfall is easy to climb even for children. If you want you can also take your mountain bike for a great experience. The route to Pepsi Pools is actually famous for mountain biking. Once you reach your destination you can take a break and chill. You can even take a swim in the waters and have a good time. How to Reach There: From Knysna road, in George, you need to take the Saasveld road turn off. Follow the road for about 5 km and then take a left to the Nelson Mandela University. Sign in at the gate and drive 2 km until you reach a dirt road. Follow the dirt road till the locked gate. This is where you start your hike to the Pepsi Pools.
