    5. Nagni Temple

    A religious landmark of Pathankot, this temple is one of the famous attractions of the city that is situated about 16 km away from the city and is devoted to the Goddess of snakes. This ancient temple organizes a huge fair every Saturday in the month of August that attracts many pilgrims and tourists from across the country. Another unique aspect of this temple is that the place where the idol of nagni mata is positioned, water comes out from there. The locals of the surrounding area also believe that a snake bite can be cured if you drink this holy water and apply mud on it from the premises of the temple.

    Formerly known as the Dhameri Fort, this fort dates back to the 10th century. The Nurpur Fort was destroyed by the British and then demolished again by an earthquake in 1905.
