Siddharth's 4 days trip to Sri Lanka

We had a really nice Sri Lanka trip covering Srigirya, Trincomalee, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. The hotels were amazing for both nights at Cinnamon group. While the driver, Mr Sisira Kumar drove well, promptly showed up everyday, there were issues following our planned itinerary. He did not want to show us places and insisted repeatedly that he was having to work long hours (especially on our last day where we travelled from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya and then to Colombo). He did not wish to follow our itinerary and wanted to drop us in Colombo directly from Kandy. We had to call the travel agent and align the driver with our plans. Additionally, while the itinerary was suggested by the tour company, each morning we had to inform the driver about the day's itinerary, instead of him telling us. Overall, the trip was good except for these minor issues with the driver. I wish the travel company clearly communicates the itinerary with their drivers and asks them to be proactive.

Jeetu's 6 days trip to Sri Lanka

I must accept the fact here that before proceeding on this trip I was a bit worried due to ongoing situation out there and what I have been seeing and reading in media but when I landed in there it was one of best holidays I have ever had. I should say that if anybody wants to visit Sri Lanka and they are sceptical about it due to ongoing situation there so they must be rest assured that tourism is not at all affected in there and all tourism activities are going on without any interruption. I found Sri Lanka as a place where people are so nice and generous and whatever the protests are going on are only against the government and are more or less peaceful. And for the people who are worrying about fuel and electricity so I must tell them that they should not be worrying about it since I noticed fuel is only an issue in Colombo and the more you go inside the country the problem is not that much, Evan I saw so many fuel stations in Nuwara Eliya and Yala with hardly any queues and whenever there is a power cut, the hotels are well equipped with backup generators with fuel. Now coming to my point to point experience. I must say that Mr. Prasanna is so professional and he arranged everything for us and we did not require to worry about anything. Also, special mention to our driver Mr. Bandara who is a gem of a person and is a very humble and polite guy. He was always on time and his driving skills are the best. Hotels in Colombo and Yala could have been better as both the hotels doesn't fit into the category of 4 or 5 star as per my understanding. Hotels in Kandy and Bentota were the best. Overall it was a fantastic experience visiting Sri Lanka and I would recommend every one to visit this beautiful country once in their lifetime. Thanks

This indeed was a trip to remember! From the time we landed at the island country , every moment has been beautiful. Our 9 days itinerary covered Sigiriya, Kandy,NuwaraEliya, Yala, Bentota & Colombo. We were a bit sceptical to travel amidst the current economic crisis! But our trip was not hampered at all. The places, hotels , the hospitality, the roads the activities and the food - everything will be cherished for long. Coming to our guide for the entire trip - Priyantha Sir - 10stars is not enough. A gem of a person, always with a smiling face , he ensured we have the best time ever! The entire our been made special by Chamodi. A lot of thanks to her. If ever we travel to SriLanka we will ensure its with her The only thing negative about the trip is our last stay - Hotel Nelly Marine. Given the hospitality,food and view we got throughout the journey, this hotel was just not upto the mark. Neither the food options or the view of the hotel. The package and all 6 days were planned nicely, However out of 5 stay , bentota , nuwara eliya , sirgriya this stay hotel and staff was outstanding including food as well. Rest of the Colombo stay was ok. And the kendy stay is worst. Nuwara eliya city and sirgriya hotel i will not be able to forgot for my whole life, I would suggest to include this 2 place and hotel for all the people who is visiting Sri Lanka.

Had booked only for Hotel and transportation. Hotel Temple tree at Bentota was the worst in terms of cleanliness, service and food. They should remove from the list. We planned for our anniversary in Hotel Taj Samudra,Colombo but the service was very poor inspite of informing in advance that we are coming all the way from India to celebrate our 25th marriage anniversary. Worst ever experience in TAJ property. I would advise people do not short list TAJ Samudra,Colombo for any auspicious occasion. The best time we spent in Hotel Cinnamon Citadel Kandy.

Everything mentioned in the package was to the point as agreed. Hotels, places, cab, driver, timings were all as per our requirement considering we have an infant. During the trip Ravisha (Udani tours) was easily available for any queries and assistance. Here is my comments Minus: 1. Some places are still closed or partially closed due to COVID, so the tour operator should pre inform or remove them from the itinerary to save traveling time. Floating market and Lotus tower for example, none the less i enjoyed Colombo for its cleanliness and pollution free environment. 2. Driver needs to improve his English for better communication on future trips. Provided his communication was better we would have managed better movement Plus 1. My accommodation in Bentota was booked as a sea view room and i did not get that. I spoke to Ravisha and immediately she was able to give me the same category room in a hotel near by which was according to me a better one. Really impressed with the quick response. 2. Driver was polite and friendly which made us feel comfortable throughout the trip. 2 hotels had hot water issues. Possibly due to COVID hotel readiness might not be 100%.

I missed my flight from chennai to colombo due to, your improper connecting flight scheduling, Indigo flight from Delhi to Chennai being delayed and due to reschedule of Indigo flight from 5:55am to 5:40am and by the time I reached the checkin gates were already closed.Due to which I have to book another flight from Chennai to Colombo on Sri lankan Airlines that costed me around Rs. 13794.There is no update from your side that what all are you doing to get my money reimbursed from Indigo because of missed flights as there was no fault of mine for the same and your travel agent told me that they are helpless and you your self need to talk to the Indigo Airlines. Secondly I need a complete distribution of my bills explaining me clearly my flights cost, travel cost, hotels and others which ideally should be done before payment even but I have not received it even after payments and even after my trip

Anil's 11 days trip to Sri Lanka

We undertook 11 days tour of Sri Lanka from 29th Feb to 10th March 2020 and visited Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Mirissa, Bentota and Colombo. The entire tour was well planned by the travel agency and it was quite comfortable tour. Taxi driver with luxurious sedan was with us for the entire tour from day one and provided Sim card for connectivity and also worked as guide. We stayed for 2 days at certain places but no local sightseeing on the first day was arranged by the Agency. At some places food was not to our taste. In all tour was very satisfying and comfortable.
