  • FAQs for Bali

Best time to visit Bali is considered when the peak season is going on. Although it entirely depends on the weather conditions of Bali as to which is the best time to visit, still the peak season begins from the months of July and August, during the Easter Holidays, and Christmas / New Year i.e. from the month of December till the 1st week of January. To enjoy a budget tour of Bali, the best time to visit is during the months of April, May, June and September. The weather is dry and less humid. The months of October and November are also considered as a good time to visit for several reasons such as cheaper prices in room and rentals.

There are no religious restrictions as such but there are few etiquettes that one is expected to follow. Balinese people consider left hand unclean and therefore, avoid using it while handing over something or shaking hands. Touching someone’s head is considered disrespectful. Entering a temple with revealing clothes is not allowed. The only law that may be disturbing is about no entry for menstruating women to religious places.

For Indians, visa is not required if the stay is less than 30 days. On arrival at the Bali airport, a visa extension stamp is applied to the passport, which works as a normal visa but is free of cost. The only problem with this is that it cannot be extended beyond these 30 days. However, if you need to extend it, certain charges are to be paid to make it possible.

It is advised to travel light carrying a suitcase and a duffle bag - while travelling to Bali. Before you pack your luggage for Bali, ensure that you must have these items along :

This is our first trip with Travel Triangle and I was not sure how it gona take an impression coz it's my honeymoon trip as well. But after seeing all the reviews I'd decided to go with TT. My experience was amazing. The hotels, agents, services, itinerary, places (suggested by agents) are super amazing. The best part was service. We missed our cruise ship in Bali and the agent has arranged it on immediate basis. We're constantly on call with her (Even in India it's 5 am) they supported me very well. Must recommended for everyone. NOTE: My trip was with TravelToogle agent.

Radhika has been wonderful throughout our trip and made sure we get everything as promised by her. Hotels provided were good except for the Gili one. Services were awesome, follow up and immediate response from Radhika at any point of time was too good. Just one drawback- I have spoken to one person (male) and he was too rude to answer any question. He only showed that he is the best trip advisor though he has been the worst I have ever came across. I will only recommend Radhika's efforts and services if you are planning from team befikre ghumo Radhika has been wonderful throughout our trip and made sure we get everything as promised by her. Viknesh's 6 days trip to Bali

We had an awesome experience that sure will last forever. We went to Bali between Feb 18 and 25 before corona became mainstream and it was one beautiful experience. Everything right from the start was meticulously planned and customized for our needs. It was like a dream come true. They took care of every single thing so that we didn't have to worry about anything and just enjoy the trip. Presales team considered all my requests, the post sales team personally called and explained the trip details and the whatsapp team created just before our trip helped us to get cleared about some of our doubts. 5 star! We felt like we know the place right from landing on Bali. We wanted both hotels to be a private pool villa and it was the best decision. Pramana Desa Swan though a bit isolated from the tourist attractions, it was great. Ubud Heaven Sayan is just that, Heaven! If you love Nature, you will enjoy it. Our driver Mr. Sathiya is a gem. He was so cooperative and even showed us few more places that are not on the trip. The trip was jam packed with a lot of destinations to cover and every single thing was worth it. I can talk all day long about our trip. You will never be disappointed. Book with your eyes closed. Few tips You will not need a local sim card at all. Hotels have good wifi and the restaurants hav wifi too. We never used our local sim and it didn't have good signal most of the time. In restaurants you have all these varied menu items to choose from. If in doubt always order Nasi Goreng which is just Chicken Fried Rice in Balinese. Opt in for photography at Tanah Lot and additional water sports benoa beach. BARGAIN as much as you can. They are worth it. Always have an additional pair of dress and hats handy. You never know when you will get dripping in water or scorched in sun. Ask for honeymoon freebies well before the trip. We asked for it just before starting and we didn't get any of those.

Apurva's 7 days trip to Bali

This was my 1st international trip and it was my honeymoon trip. I was exploring multiple options to go out of country, Thailand and Bali were my top choices. While doing my search I came across Sagar from Desi Yatri who helped me making my decision right and choosing Bali as my destination. I cant thank him enough to make me feel comfortable in sharing all minute trip details to revising and modifying itenary as per my needs. He also ensured he give us best of the hotels since we were honeymoon couple. As they say, you dont go by company but you go by person who is selling you the product. He is not typical sales person but someone who will ensure he gives his 150percent in terms of his services. I dont remember a single instance when he hasnt recieved my or husbands call or couldnt guide us or misguided us..From basics to everything was been properly shared. The can driver, cab to all spots covered were as per itenary. SAGAR you are best suited for this profession. Thanks sagar, desi Yatri and Travel Triangle for making my trip so memorable.. Best part of this trip was : 1. Water sports 2. Bounty Cruise the most amazing experience 3. PRIVATE pool villa..a must go when in Bali.

01 Breaking Stereotypes on my solo trip to Bali

    Duration: 6N/7D

    Accommodation: 3-star Hotel

Experiences: Female traveler on a budget trip to Bali, Bali is more than just a honeymoon destination.

Come Back for: thrilling water sports and scuba diving

With my first international solo trip to Bali, I was already breaking the stereotypes of seeing Bali as only a ‘’romantic destination’’. And when i reached Bali, I could not believe that I was right all the while. Bali has an array of options to offer for every single traveler. I had reserved one of the best deal from TravelTriangle, and had my itinerary sorted beforehand. I had an amazing time during the exciting watersports activities at Tanjung Benoa beach. Apart from that, I experience Scuba diving for the first time and I can’t tell you how much I loved it!

I am still proud of myself (and thankful to TT) for taking the first step on discovering Bali, and defying the stereotypes!

One of my best travel experiences so far, I consider the Bali trip as a lifetime memory. Firstly, I was able to cover an international destination in an affordable budget. Secondly, the whole trip was a real value for money, as the food wasn’t very expensive and the sightseeing was done at an economical price. I loved the shopping session and Sunset view from Tanah Lot. And lastly, I had a gala time enjoying the Kecak dance performance against the background of the setting sun. Cheers to TT team for providing me with several tour packages for Bali as options.

On my trip to Bali, I came across such beautiful places and even more beautiful experiences that left me wanting for more. Thanks to a well-charted Bali tour itinerary by team TravelTriangle, I had a great time in Bali. On my first day of outing, I tried my hand on scuba diving and jet skiing. It was altogether a wonderful experience for me. Apart from that, I loved shopping in Bali.On the streets of Seminyak, I came across a number of stalls that sold exquisite designer wear, colorful accessories, exquisite handicrafts and what not! I also carried a pouch of authentic coffee beans back home. I was able to shop to my heart’s content that too without burning a hole in my pocket. But I missed out on Banana boat rides. Safety Measures To Follow During Bali Trip

Some of the best measures one must take while traveling to Bali during the pandemic are:

    • One must carry a COVID-19 negative certificate at all times
    • Make all hotel bookings in advance and ensure that you have a copy of the same
    • Ensure that you wear a mask at all time when traveling
    • Maintain social distancing and avoid going to crowded places
    • Keep a sanitizer handy at all times and ensure that the rooms are well-sanitized and hygienic.

    Essential and Additional Info

Bali is an incredibly safe place to backpack and travel — even if you’re traveling solo (and even as a solo female traveler). But it is always good to protect one’s safety, especially during solo trips. A Bali holiday package must solve all your problems but safety is still in your own hand. However, certain rules must be universally followed, irrespective of travelling in a group or on your own -

    • Bali is a peaceful country. Hence, violent attacks are absent or rare. Make sure to keep your money and belongings safe.
    • Theft is a recurring problem, especially in public transit in Indonesia. Stay safe and avoid crowded places.
    • Be aware of the Credit card fraud which is a common issue in Indonesia. To stay safe, carry cash or debit cards.
    • Follow your gut feeling. If you feel the cab driver is weird or the hotel assistants are indecent, move out! Do not think twice, just move to a safer location or simply deboard the cab.
    • Carry copies of your documents before leaving for the trip and share the trip details with your family and friends when traveling alone.
    • Heard of “Do As The Romans Do?” In Bali, “do not do what the locals don’t” and you will be safe all the while.
    • Do not consume tap water in Bali. Make use of bottled mineral water.
    • Don’t overindulge with monkeys since they can bite and might cause infections.
    • While going on a trek or hike make sure to be accompanied by a local travel guide.
    • Keep your valuables close and safe not just from the pickpockets but also from monkeys

    Pro Travelers’ Tips

    • If you are looking to save money on dining, check out the restaurants located anywhere but West. Explore the local food here and save more on eating.
    • When shopping in Bali, bargain hard and bargain every once in a while. Do not just blindly pay for the price they ask. If you are here through a certain Bali travel package, you may get some help from your tour guide as well.
    • If you already know too much about Southern Bali, take a trip to the less explored location- Northern Bali. Also, you will find the best accommodation deals here.
    • If you are looking to grab drinks at a minimum cost, head to the public bars during the Happy Hours or just buy from the local liquor store.
    • If you are traveling on your own, take the free shuttle that offer absolutely free airport transfers.
    • Carrying your own reusable water bottle will not only be helpful to you but also to Bali. It will save your money and the environment.
    • In some cases where you have booked any of the Bali trip packages, the agent might provide you with some essential info during the trip. Make sure you consider them important.
    • Note that when it comes to pilgrimage sites, Balinese follow a very strict dress code. So wear something that keeps the body covered.
    • Always make sure to check the weather forecast before planning any trip to Bali..
    • Before booking any Bali holiday package online, check out the complete itinerary and arrange a schedule much before time.

Bali treats every traveler with ample of options to choose from. From the hippie traveler to the fun-loving group, everyone comes to Bali to get a taste of its amazing landscape and vibrant nightlife. When one returns, it is just the good memories they carry back.
