Kainchi Dham, Nainital was established by Neem Karoli Baba in June 1964 and Shri Poornanand of the Kainchi Village along with Neem Karoli Baba built the Kainchi Dham temple to worship Lord Hanuman. Visitors indulge in the bhajans, Yagya, and kirtans and get immersed in the spiritual atmosphere of this divine place.

Every year on 15th June, a large Bhandara is organized to celebrate the Pran Pratishta of Hanuman idol. A large number of devotees from different parts of the world gather to witness this celebration and to get absorbed in the bell chimes and religious chants at the Kainchi Dham Temple, Uttarakhand.
