Lake from the Itinerary. On our Itinerary Rohtang pass was scheduled on Tuesday and we came to know during our journey that Rohtang pass is closed on Tuesday's so we covered local sight seeing which was planned on Wednesday on tuesday. Kufri is just a waste of money and time if u are visiting in off season. On our journey from manali to Dharamshala, We faced issue and agrument with the driver who took night charges but still was forcing us to take a night halt at manali and drive next day to Dharamshala.We did not listen to him because our hotel was already booked in Dharamshala and travelling next day would have wasted entire day in travelling. In Dharamshala, driver did not take us to Dal lake saying lake is same every where. Me and my husband love photography, kasol and Dal lake were our main attraction to click.Travel agent asked us to pay for the driver night charges which we denied because it was their responsibility to create Itinerary in such a way that Night travelling is avoided. Travel agent was taking regular updates from us about the hotel and traveling which felt good for initial stay but, later on it became irritating due to continuos messages on whatsapp. On all the hotels we checked in we never got welcome drink, so this was just a mention in the itinerary. when we shared this to travel agent she laughed and said "paani toh diya hoga". I never knew that water is considered as welcome drink. We were asked to pay driver 5000 cash from the pending amount that we had to pay the agent. We make our transactions online and finding atm to pay the driver was inconvenient. We were also asked to pay at the hotel on checkout. We denied this. We book through travel agent because these things are taken care of, what is the point if we have to pay for everything ourself in cash.During journey we were stopped at a shopping outlet in kullu which claimed to have original jackets and woolen shawls, we fell in to prey and shopped for jackets, baby clothes and sweater costing for bill of around Rs.6000. Never go for it because you will get same product with same quality in the market for cheaper rates.If you are going on off season to Rohtang pass do not take outfits on rent as it will be waste of money. Yes, its cold their but it's bearable. We went there in September and we took this outfit convinced by the shop keeper that it would be raining and temperature will be unbearable. We were there with just normal jacket and other people did not even have that but, still were enjoying the beauty of nature.If you are planning to buy any tibetian articles you will get it cheap in Dharamshala's market as compared to in Shimla and Manali.If you are planning Dalhousie then i would suggest do not rely on Dalhousie market for shopping as it's not as big as market's in Shimla, Manali and Dharamshala.We always plan our trips with the help of other travel agency online and never had such kind of experience. We are disappointed with the trip. I gave driver good rating because he was aware of the roads and made sure we reach airport on time.Thanks.
