Located in the southern half of India, Hyderabad is an important hub for the state of Telangana and also the capital. People from all over the country and indeed the world who work in this space may find their way to Hyderabad eventually.
This works in favour of those who live in the city themselves and would like to head out somewhere else for a vacation. So, if you’re itching for a vacation and you only have time for snappy 3 day trips from Hyderabad, you may want to brush up on which destinations would make for convenient travel.

Places To Visit

Hampi

The ancient village of Hampi is home to a set of monuments that have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. So, it is a great place to visit on a 3 days trip from Hyderabad. The last capital of the Hindu Kingdom of Vijayanagar, the Virupaksha Temple and Hemakuta Hill Temple are all part of the rich history of this region.

Amaravati

The town of Amaravati holds great reverence among the people who consider themselves to be followers of the Buddhist faith. Sitting on the banks of the Krishna River, Amaravati is not too far from Hyderabad.

Bijapur

Officially known as Vijayapura, Bijapur has numerous relics and structures present in its vicinity that have survived since the Adil Shah ruled over these lands. One can pay a visit to this place on a 3 day tour from Hyderabad.

Lonar

Telangana also happens to have the state of Maharashtra as its neighbour to the north and one of the places worth visiting from Hyderabad is the town of Lonar. It is most famous for the titular Lonar Lake, which was formed as a result of a crater created due to the impact of an asteroid.

Warangal

Home to the famous Thousand Pillar Temple, the city of Warangal is one of the most fascinating places you could visit on 3 days trip from Hyderabad. Travellers won’t even have to go to another state to get to it, as it is located towards the northeast of Hyderabad within Telangana itself.

Dubai

Hyderabad’s airport has flights that travel to quite a few international locales and Dubai is one of them. The experience of urban marvels such as the Burj Khalifa tower and the coastal beauty of the Palm Jumeirah region are all a non-stop flight away from Hyderabad.

London

The longest flight that you could take from Hyderbad’s airport, London certainly makes the case for being the finest tourist destination that citizens of Hyderabad have the pleasure of visiting.

Shirdi

If you’d rather go somewhere closer to home, however, the sacred town of Shirdi in Maharashtra may be more up your alley. The Dwarkamai mosque, as well as the Samadhi Mandir that are located here in Shirdi, are said to be two of the most important shrines in the life of Sai Baba.

Hong Kong

The metropolitan delights of Hong Kong also happen to be a flight away from Hyderabad, so treat yourself to attractions such as the Hong Kong Disneyland or to Victoria’s Peak if you decide to plan out 3 days tour package from Hyderabad to this magnificent city.

Vijayawada

A pilgrimage, where you may seek the blessings of the Goddess it enshrines, as well as be captivated by its intricate architecture, or an exploration of the ancient, rock-cut Undavalli are just a taste of what the city of Vijaywada has in store for travellers.

Koushikk's 8 days trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling

We recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Sikkim With Unexplored Trip and I can confidently say it was one of the most beautiful and well-organized vacations we've had. From the breathtaking landscapes of Gangtok and Tsomgo Lake to the peaceful monasteries and vibrant local culture, every day brought something new and exciting. A big shoutout to our tour organizer, Avishkar Tiwari, who did an exceptional job in planning and coordinating everything. From the moment we arrived until our return, every detail was taken care of — clean and comfortable accommodations, smooth transportation, knowledgeable local guides, and a well-paced itinerary that gave us enough time to explore and relax. What made the trip truly special was Avishkar’s personal touch and responsiveness. He was always available for queries and ensured we felt safe, informed, and taken care of throughout the journey. His passion for travel and deep knowledge of the region really showed in the way everything was handled. If you're planning a trip to Sikkim, I highly recommend going through Avishkar Tiwari (+91 72754 54319). He made our trip seamless, enjoyable, and filled with beautiful memories that we’ll cherish forever.

Saraswat's 7 days trip to Thailand

I recently traveled to Thailand with them, and overall, it was a very smooth and enjoyable experience. The arrangements were seamless, and the transfers between locations were well-coordinated, making the trip stress-free. However, on one occasion, I had to wait for two hours in the hotel lobby due to a scheduling oversight by the company. This was quite frustrating and did impact that particular day of the trip. I hope the company addresses this issue to ensure smoother experiences in the future. Thanks to Ananta Tours Team.

Mailyuvraj's 7 days trip to Thailand

Tour and itenary was arranged very nicely by Clipago Private Limited. There were no hurdles we faced during the trip. Hotels given were excellent, only the Casa Del M Hotel at Phuket which was chosen by me found at a distance from main Market or Beach area where we had to take vehicle and go. Veg food was not available in this Casa Del M hence for Vegetarian it will be problem except fruits. Clipago team was very much reachable over the phone as and when required and the response was prompt, their team found truly professionals. Recommending not to Visit Thailand May to September months. October to March is good time to enjoy and visit all islands, max can be extended till April but not in May due to weather conditions in Thailand. Overall the Trip was very nice and i would like to thanks Travel Triangle and Clipago team for making the tour success inspite of bad weather conditions. Strongly recommends Clipago.  Out of the Itenary we visited Kayaking lake and found very very nice and awesome place to enjoy boating. One must visit it but during sunlight only.

My Hong Kong and Macau trip through Travel tringle Pvt Ltd was excellent. Everything was smooth, timebound and very cooperative guide, driver, back office coordinator as well as the Travel Tringle team . Only dissatisfied with the room at Best Western Hotel, Hong Kong . The Hotel location is very good but they allotted me inferior/lower price room for 4 days. No result even protesting before management / Travel Tringle . Anyway managed 4 days.. Overall views are excellent Thanks to all for their dedicated team work to satisfy the guests. Best wishes and Regards to all . Bishnu Prasad Das Mob: 9937174097

Amit's 5 days trip to Kashmir

Overall the trip to Kashmir is nice and a must visit place for the travelers once in a lifetime. The place is really a heaven but need certain points of improvements regarding uncertainty/ unforeseen events, safety & security, overprice/overbudget places & over tip culture everywhere despite of best services. Trip was organized fine by 'Travelancer kashmir' company via agent Iqra madam initially and then Ishrat madam, however there are some issues wrt itinerary provided by the company regarding compliances/ follow up of hotels ratings and their hospitality/ services which needs to be taken seriously further in future for other Travelers.

Rajiv's 5 days trip to North East

Our recent trip to Meghalaya was a truly memorable experience, filled with natural beauty, warm hospitality, and well-organized travel. Here's a quick recap of our journey: Shillong: Our stay in Shillong was delightful. The hotel was excellent, and the food was exceptionally good, adding comfort and flavor to our time there. Mawlynnong: Known as Asia's cleanest village, Mawlynnong lived up to its reputation in terms of beauty and cleanliness. The hotel we stayed at was beautiful and offered great views, although the facilities were quite average. Nonetheless, the natural charm of the place made up for it. Cherrapunji: Our experience in Cherrapunji was also very good. The hotel was comfortable, and we had a pleasant stay amidst misty hills and stunning landscapes. However we could have better option here, because food choices were very limited. Special Thanks: A special mention goes to Ms. Sizra from The Unexplored via Travel Triangle, who played a key role in making this trip so smooth and enjoyable. Her coordination and efforts are highly appreciated. She was continuously in touch with us during the trip to confirm about wellbeing and comfort. A very professional approach to connect with your client.

Tips

Considering you’re only planning a three-day excursion, making sure you have ironed out all the kinks is absolutely necessary. These pointers may help you with that.

  • Once you land at the airport in Hong Kong, the Airport Express train service is your best option to make it into the city.
  • Get yourself an Octopus card to easily you use public transport in Hong Kong, such as the MTR stations and the tram much more conveniently and even works at McDonald’s.
  • The weather in Hong Kong can be a tad unpredictable at times, especially in terms of the rain. Keep an umbrella or a raincoat ready to go in such cases.
  • Similar to the Octopus card in Hong Kong, you have the Oyster card in London. This lets you ride the subway system, known as “the Tube” and the buses quite easily.
  • If you’re taking an escalator up or down in London and are going to stay stationary, stick to the right-hand side rail, as those who wish to move quickly will have room on the left.
  • The Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace and entry to the Natural History Museum in London, among others, is absolutely free.
  • If you’re shopping for gold in Dubai, make sure you compare the rates being offered at multiple stores before making a purchase.
  • Learning some basic Arabic phrases would go a long way to making your trip to Dubai smooth as well.
  • Similarly, learning some Kannada greetings in Bijapur would make getting around easier.
  • Getting in for a temple darshan in Shirdi may be a bit of a challenge if you haven’t booked in advance, so be sure to do so online.

Essentially, thanks to the notability of this city, it has become quite easy for its citizens to travel to a whole host of amazing destinations on a 3 day tour from Hyderabad.
