Located in the southern half of India, Hyderabad is an important hub for the state of Telangana and also the capital. People from all over the country and indeed the world who work in this space may find their way to Hyderabad eventually.
This works in favour of those who live in the city themselves and would like to head out somewhere else for a vacation. So, if you’re itching for a vacation and you only have time for snappy 3 day trips from Hyderabad, you may want to brush up on which destinations would make for convenient travel.

Places To Visit

Hampi

The ancient village of Hampi is home to a set of monuments that have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. So, it is a great place to visit on a 3 days trip from Hyderabad. The last capital of the Hindu Kingdom of Vijayanagar, the Virupaksha Temple and Hemakuta Hill Temple are all part of the rich history of this region.

Amaravati

The town of Amaravati holds great reverence among the people who consider themselves to be followers of the Buddhist faith. Sitting on the banks of the Krishna River, Amaravati is not too far from Hyderabad.

Bijapur

Officially known as Vijayapura, Bijapur has numerous relics and structures present in its vicinity that have survived since the Adil Shah ruled over these lands. One can pay a visit to this place on a 3 day tour from Hyderabad.

Lonar

Telangana also happens to have the state of Maharashtra as its neighbour to the north and one of the places worth visiting from Hyderabad is the town of Lonar. It is most famous for the titular Lonar Lake, which was formed as a result of a crater created due to the impact of an asteroid.

Warangal

Home to the famous Thousand Pillar Temple, the city of Warangal is one of the most fascinating places you could visit on 3 days trip from Hyderabad. Travellers won’t even have to go to another state to get to it, as it is located towards the northeast of Hyderabad within Telangana itself.

Dubai

Hyderabad’s airport has flights that travel to quite a few international locales and Dubai is one of them. The experience of urban marvels such as the Burj Khalifa tower and the coastal beauty of the Palm Jumeirah region are all a non-stop flight away from Hyderabad.

London

The longest flight that you could take from Hyderbad’s airport, London certainly makes the case for being the finest tourist destination that citizens of Hyderabad have the pleasure of visiting.

Shirdi

If you’d rather go somewhere closer to home, however, the sacred town of Shirdi in Maharashtra may be more up your alley. The Dwarkamai mosque, as well as the Samadhi Mandir that are located here in Shirdi, are said to be two of the most important shrines in the life of Sai Baba.

Hong Kong

The metropolitan delights of Hong Kong also happen to be a flight away from Hyderabad, so treat yourself to attractions such as the Hong Kong Disneyland or to Victoria’s Peak if you decide to plan out 3 days tour package from Hyderabad to this magnificent city.

Vijayawada

A pilgrimage, where you may seek the blessings of the Goddess it enshrines, as well as be captivated by its intricate architecture, or an exploration of the ancient, rock-cut Undavalli are just a taste of what the city of Vijaywada has in store for travellers.

Rahul's 4 days trip to Dubai

Special mention to desert safari. 2 days package was great except Miraj Art Centre. Please avoid it in the package. That place seems to be a place of scam. They didn't give a VAT return for the purchase we made though it was mentioned at the time of purchase. But otherwise it was a fantastically time bound arranged trip. Desert safari and Burj Khalifa

Vishal's 6 days trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling

The destination was absolutely mesmerizing, unparalleled & divine. I strongly recommend one & all to definitely visit here atleast once in a lifetime. Preeti from Back2Holidays was extremely courteous, friendly & professional to speak to. I was offered a good price for the package although there are still some definite areas of improvement for the travel agency like understanding the customer profile, travel history & preferences, knowing the on ground situation & accordingly advising client tweaks & adjustments in package details. Eg, Cab drivers expected us to leave for sightseeing at 8 am in the morning but hotel breakfast timings start from 8 or 830 leading to unsatisfactory experience; NH closure to a destination led to extremely bad alternate road being taken which could have been informed beforehand & suggested for Cab upgrade to not suffer from bad roads in a Bolero like vehicle etc. and others like this. Finally, if you wish to cover East, West & North Sikkim, you must have atleast 9 days to enjoy the place stress free. Hopping from one place to another is not a good idea for this destination.

Soumenchandra's 6 days trip to North East

We truly had a wonderful time exploring Arunachal Pradesh with your team and appreciated the variety of experiences throughout the trip. Starting from the beginning, the cab provided was comfortable, and our initial driver, Ashok, was friendly and courteous. The hotel at Bhalukpong was adequate for an overnight stay, although we did face some issues with the bathroom's water supply, and one of the rooms did not have a functioning geyser. Additionally, dinner service was delayed by approximately an hour and a half from the requested time. The next day, we were introduced to our new driver, Sofikul. Initially, there was a language barrier, but it was eventually resolved, and we had a pleasant experience with him. The homestay in Dirang was excellent. In Tawang, the hotel offered good amenities; however, we were surprised to find that tea was charged separately despite the breakfast being complimentary. In Bomdila, the accommodation was cozy and served the purpose for a one-night stay. Overall, we had a good experience over the six-day trip. However, there were a few concerns that we would like to highlight: Upon our arrival, when we inquired with Ashok about the travel time to Kamakhya, his first question was, “Do you have Kamakhya on your itinerary?” This raised concerns, as we expected the drivers to be well-versed with the itinerary beforehand. A similar situation occurred the next day with Sofikul, who also seemed unaware of the planned route and sites. As a result, we missed our first scheduled stop at Orchid Garden in Tippi. Additionally, we took an incorrect route to reach our homestay in Dirang due to a misunderstanding, as the driver had been initially informed that it was the correct path. While the next two days proceeded smoothly, Day 6 presented another issue. Our itinerary included visits to Kameng Valley and the Bhutan border. However, no local residents, including our driver, appeared to be familiar with Kameng Valley, and we were unable to visit it. Later, we were informed that we would travel to Tezpur, where Ashok would rejoin us and accompany us to Guwahati. This change in the plan was unexpected, and it seemed to us that there was a lack of internal communication regarding the route. Sofikul mentioned he could have taken the Shergaon route if needed, but it was evident that he preferred the Tezpur route, which unfortunately led to us missing another destination. As compensation, we were told we could visit two other temples, but Ashok mentioned that one was located within Guwahati city and not feasible due to time constraints. He was also hesitant about visiting the second temple, but upon our insistence, we managed to go there. Lastly, on April 12th, I reached out to our trip manager, Pravin. He informed me that he was on leave and provided the contact details of Nikita, who was indeed very helpful. However, it would have been appreciated if this had been communicated proactively, as we respect the importance of personal time and would have avoided disturbing him unnecessarily. In conclusion, while we genuinely enjoyed the trip and the beautiful locations, there were several instances of miscommunication between the agency and the drivers. Addressing these gaps in coordination would greatly enhance the overall experience for future travelers. Travel to Bumla pass.

Mohit's 7 days trip to Malaysia

It booking was easy and smooth. This is my 3rd trip booked from travel triangle and all three of them were from different agencies and all of them were really good . Trip to Malaysia covered Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur. Majorly 2 activities on each of the destination. The activities took around half day so there were quite some time to explore the city with your own or taking the rest . There could be more information from the agent, like what else to explore by your own , which transport option to take and other informations which is essential . Sky cable car in Langkawi and weather at Genting highlands.

Happy's 7 days trip to Europe

The experience was really great. The representatives were very helpful and engaging. The tours, hotels were booked as per our requirements and the quality standards were very high. The best thing was they provided end to end support right from booking to assisting with the visa process, Travel insurances and detailed itenary which made it the complete package. And cost wise also they were very reasonable and fit our budget. Shetal and rinkal from their team constantly followed up and made sure we had everything we need. Kudos to the team and would definitely recommend it to others. Some absolute stand outs from the trip were the mesmerizing beauty of Cesky Krumlov, Plitvice lakes and Lake Bled. Also local Czech cuisine lunch which was included in the prague city tour.

I’m cutting one star for travel agent because of mishandling of our booking for MAHANAKHON TOWER visit. We had to wait for an hour or maybe more than that and we were not being conveyed about the situation properly.

Tips

Considering you’re only planning a three-day excursion, making sure you have ironed out all the kinks is absolutely necessary. These pointers may help you with that.

  • Once you land at the airport in Hong Kong, the Airport Express train service is your best option to make it into the city.
  • Get yourself an Octopus card to easily you use public transport in Hong Kong, such as the MTR stations and the tram much more conveniently and even works at McDonald’s.
  • The weather in Hong Kong can be a tad unpredictable at times, especially in terms of the rain. Keep an umbrella or a raincoat ready to go in such cases.
  • Similar to the Octopus card in Hong Kong, you have the Oyster card in London. This lets you ride the subway system, known as “the Tube” and the buses quite easily.
  • If you’re taking an escalator up or down in London and are going to stay stationary, stick to the right-hand side rail, as those who wish to move quickly will have room on the left.
  • The Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace and entry to the Natural History Museum in London, among others, is absolutely free.
  • If you’re shopping for gold in Dubai, make sure you compare the rates being offered at multiple stores before making a purchase.
  • Learning some basic Arabic phrases would go a long way to making your trip to Dubai smooth as well.
  • Similarly, learning some Kannada greetings in Bijapur would make getting around easier.
  • Getting in for a temple darshan in Shirdi may be a bit of a challenge if you haven’t booked in advance, so be sure to do so online.

Essentially, thanks to the notability of this city, it has become quite easy for its citizens to travel to a whole host of amazing destinations on a 3 day tour from Hyderabad.
