First of all a whole hearted THANKS from self and spouse for the excellent way the trip was organized in spite of all the troubles given by us to accommodate our special requests. Special mention must be made for Mr AMAN CHAUDRY, who was always willing to accommodate requests for rescheduling and fitting in our requests. Also our driver Mr RAMPRAKASH was always willing to adjust to our schedules and was always available before the scheduled time, took interest to show places of interest with special emphasis on what and where to look for at the important places. In total it was a wonderful trip thoroughly enjoyed by self and spouse.

Kumar's 8 days trip to Bhutan

Good service provided by Bhutan Online Owner Mr. Hari and his team of Mr. Jimmy (Guide). The guide was very friendly and helpful to make our trip enjoyable. The hotels booked were good with clean rooms. The food options (especially breakfast) in the hotel could have been better. However, food was freshly prepared and hence we preferred it over outside restaurants. Only other issue was during travel from Phuentsholing to Bagdogra on the last day, we asked the driver for a known restaurant option rather than local restaurant. However the driver said those options are only in the town and he could not go there, leading to no lunch stoppage. Would have preferred if our request could have been accomodated as we had ample time.

The trip was good. Positive things: Accomodation was good, Food was good, Vehicles arrived in time. Guides were OK. Negative things: In our group 4pax were US citizens. We have informed this to the agent a few months before. The agent informed us that they have to pay SDF charges of $100 per day. but not informed about US citizens obtain Visa before arriving in Bhutan. This lead to 4pax denay entry to flight. 2pax arrived to Bhutan after 1 day and another 2 pax arrive after 2days due to this issue. During hike to Tigers nest only 1 guide was avilable for the group of about 25 people and this lead to delays. One of the programme called Live Musium is not worth for the entrance fee of Nu1000 per pax.

Overall Trip is good but can be even better. Stay is excellent in Guruvauyr, Munnar and Kovalam Beach. I asked for a room in alleppey with only ride in Houseboat but the Tour operator promised a very good Houseboat. The Houseboat it not that great. Cab is average but the Driver is very good. There should be type of cabs to chose from before finalizing the trip similar to rooms.

We were staying in IBIS Styles Hotel on Machpherson. First 2 days we were provided room on 8th floor and there was no wifi available due to technical issue. We changed our room for next 3 days and wifi was seamlessly available. The breakfast was very good and staff was friendly. The coach and cabs were clean and the driver arrived and dropped us on time. Overall Trip experience is very nice and Family is enjoyed a lot. Riva Holidays planning is really good. Thank you Kapil for your suggestions, follow ups. one unique thing which i observed here is, they are not money minded. Cab service is really good, clean and comfortable to my family and driver is on time.. The only suggestion is to have Hotels in city will be helpful for guests for different food options. otherwise we need to stick to what Hotel provide.
