ay he picked us up from our hotel, took us around leh, which included Hall of fame- Tribute to our soldiers , Gurudwara patthar Sahib and Magnetic hill. Later we drive to Zanskar valley and on the way back to spituk Monestry. Our guide cum driver was very helpful and including taking our snaps. On Day 3 after BF, we set off to Kardungla pass. The journey was superb with breathtaking views. We had a short stop over at Kardungla pass and time to play with snow and take some snaps. It’s was quite cold outside but we had fun. Drove further through mesmerizing scenic valley and mountain with few stopovers for photography and tea. Since most part of roads are under expansion and repair, it was a quite a tedious journey. After late lunch we visited the gigantic Budda statue at Diskit and had good time at Nubra valley with camel ride. After a long and tiring journey we reached our hotel at Hunder Nubra valley- Organic boutique inn. It’s quite a good hotel with excellent staffs. Night we had a great Buffet. Weather was very cold and room heating with conventional wood fire did give some temporary relief. Next day after breakfast we started off to Pangyoung lake and a beautiful scenery but very bad road due to repair work we had flat tyre on the way, but quickly replaced with Stepney and moved on. By evening we reached our hotel Grand Himalayan Stay at Merak. Finding this hotel was bit difficult as it’s new and no Clear name board. We found that Hotel is quite nice and being in a a remote village and extremely cold conditions, we were put to hardship as there a electricity failure for over 12 hrs. Hotel staff were courteous and tried their best to make our stay comfortable . At subzero temperature, frozen over head tanks, flush tank geyser doesn’t work….so imagine the plight. Lack of electricity adds to the woes. Despite all these, we were looking forward to spend time at the Pongyoung lake. In the morning we spent over 1 hr and had lot of pics taken. Lake was mostly frozen. From there we headed back to Leh, again with lot of photographs. Visited one more monastery and Rancho school . Returned by evening to Leh by evening and took rest. Through out our trip we never had any mountain sickness issue although we were equally well prepared with all emergency medicine and oxygen. Next day back to airport with lots a great memories and loads of pictures. Overall, it was a great trip, thanks to Trip trail, in particular Mr.Aman Sharma, and all others who took care is us. verything is really good. I enjoyed my stay for 3 days and night there. 2. Nubra Velly (Hunder)- Organic Boutique Hunder: 3 star ⭐⭐⭐ Over rated property. Outer ambiance is good. And food you get is good and organic veggies get to eat but you have to compromise with taste if you are done with eating cottage cheese (Paneer) and Potatoes. 4 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for food. I stayed for 2 nights. 1st night was in Tent 8 give only 2 star ⭐⭐. Tent is permanent and not clean upto the mark. Cover and bedsheet not fresh. 2nd night in room which is upto 3 star ⭐⭐⭐ View from room is nice. All Facilities not upto the mark. You have to carry your tooth brush, tooth paste. Used sleepers will be there for room. I don't think overall room is hygienic. This property is managed by a local person who owned this property but they are not able to maintain hygiene upto the mark at the cost they are offering. 3. Pangong - Skylake Cottage: I'll give 3 star ⭐⭐⭐ to the stay and 4 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐ to the food they are serving. Spent 1 night there. At Pangong, you cannot expect much in cottage. Hot water is there. Bathroom were clean. Cottage is looking good. We didn't get fresh bedsheet and covers which is annoying. At cost they are offering I was expecting atleast clean and fresh amenities to sleep. You have to carry your own tooth brush, paste and soap. Only good thing is their food. Taste is really good and they serve hot which I like the most. Cab & Driver Bike- Himalayan for 1 day: Provided bike was good and clean. It was serviced properly and Driving experience in leh is really cool and smooth. I don't have any issue with the bike 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for that. Only you have to buy petrol on your own that will be chargeable above your package. Car- Mahindra Xylo: 3 star ⭐⭐⭐ for the Vehicle and 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for driving and 4 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for driver. Car was clean but in case of comfort it is not upto the a Mark. Smell in the car is weird. Only loaded songs were able to play in car which are ladakhi songs only, do not have any other option. You have to listen ladakhi songs only. AC wasn't working. Driving experience of Driver Mr. S Tanzin is really good and he drives car smoothly and you can trust him blindly while he was driving in hills. You are not required to worry while he was driving car. Nature of driver is cool and he speaks some Hindi but sometimes you have to figure out what he is trying to tell. There will be some communication gap between you and the driver. He won't tell anything about any place and he is not able to guide at any place. He is not good at taking pictures if you asked him to take for you. Overall I liked his nature, he won't disturb you. He is punctual. I traveled in the cars for 5 days and pickup and drop for airport. Service of Travel Agent For Trip Trail (Mr. Aman) I will give him 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. He is excellent. He well known with the places in Ladakh. Every suggestion by him was really good. He is always 1 call away for you. He always picks calls and responded really well each and everytime. I have no complaint with him. He served what he committed. There was no hidden cost. He already told me that you cannot expect good hotels in Nubra Valley and Pangong. He didn't overcommit. He is serving what he is telling. You can trust him. I had some flight issue and my plan postponed for 1 day the day before we were going to reach Leh. He managed everything and didn't charge single penny. He is polite, Cooperative and good person. He take care for you and also get in touch with you and also gives you report of weather and any other happening. Like there was a landslide at Lamayuru when we were there and he informed us for not going that side. I appreciate his efforts and full marks for that. e was comfortable after the room upgrade. However, the triple-sharing room could be improved, as its setup did not feel comparable to the Deluxe Twin room. It would be great if the triple-sharing option could have better arrangements to provide a more comfortable experience. All of our transfers and tours were well-organized and always on time. ok care of our needs during the trip especially taking us to very good restaurants for our on trip meals. His extraordinary ability to drive on the hills was proved when we found ourselves on a really narrow and steep broken cement road to our way to our Dharamshala hotel. The road where only Altos can go up the steep and narrow road, he was able to take a fully loaded Innova with 7 people up that road, navigating extremely tight hair pin bends. We were given accomodations at 4 star and 5 star hotels as requested by us and all hotel rooms were true to its category of stars. The halong bay cruise they had arranged for us was just out of the world and a mesmerizing experience. The follow up from the support team was spot on. Nowhere we had to wait for our pick up drivers. The entire trip was co ordinated so precisely. Kudos to the entire team for making our Vietnam trip memorable.
