Avi's 8 days trip to North East

Our recent group trip to Arunachal Pradesh was nothing short of unforgettable, all thanks to Unexplored Trip and especially Shashank, who was our dedicated point of contact throughout the journey. From the very beginning, Shashank ensured that every aspect of our trip was well-planned and smoothly executed. He was always available to answer our questions and kept in constant touch before and during the trip, which made us feel well-guided and supported throughout. The itinerary was perfectly curated, giving us a blend of adventure, local culture, breathtaking landscapes, and offbeat experiences. From the serene beauty of Tawang, the magical vibe of Ziro, to the scenic drive through the Sela Pass, every destination felt like a dream come true. ✨ Highlights of our trip: • Seamless transportation with punctual pickups and comfortable vehicles • Clean, cozy stays with warm hospitality • Knowledgeable and friendly local guides • Well-coordinated meal stops that included delicious regional cuisine • Flexibility in the itinerary to suit our group’s interests • Emergency support and timely updates from Shashank whenever needed What made this trip even more special was the attention to detail and the personalized approach by the team. Shashank was not just a coordinator but more like a travel companion who genuinely cared about our comfort and experience. If you’re planning a group trip and want to explore offbeat destinations like Arunachal Pradesh, I highly recommend going with Unexplored Trip. Their passion for travel, professionalism, and dedication to making your journey memorable is truly commendable. Thank you, Shashank and team Unexplored, for making this trip one of the best experiences of our lives!

Hotels in all the locations were good. In Tawang when we were checking out the mgr informed me saying that the travel agent hadn't paid for our stay. It shouldn't be like that. The guests should not even be involved with the payments as everything was included in the package.

We visited Arunachal Pradesh specially Tawang with the help of our travel agent Hill Dekho and Prashant. The whole itinerary was really well prepared and customised according to our need. Prashant the travel agent was always just a phone call away from us throughout the process right from sharing the quote to completing our tour. The cab driver (Vipul) was really a gem of a person and was cheerful throughout our Tawang trip. The hotels/homestays were satisfactory and the food was also good. Do go with Hill Dekho for the best price and itinerary. Really good experience. Best memories were visiting the snow capped mountains and the Bumla Pass. Felt proud seeing the army guarding us in the Chinese border. All mountain lovers should visit India's Land of the Rising Sun. Tawang was mesmerising and beautiful.

Amit's 5 days trip to North East

Trip has been good; traveler(s) is advised to carry ready to cook meals as some of the hotels have timings for ordering food; good to keep small meals handy to pass-it-off especially with kid(s). 1-2 Hotels wasn't upto the mark, namely; Deysal Noora @ Bomdila and Kutmadan @Cherrapunjee (Small rooms with not so good hygiene & too off-beat location that the driver couldn't understand the location) Rest the trip has been a great getaway especially Arunachal-Tawang (Olden day's Tibet) There's hardly anything in Dirang and Bomdila. P.S.: Book a helicopter ride from Tawang to Guwahati than 2 days extensive car rides (Suggestion)

What went good-The Travel agent Megha and Arvind was really helpfull to plan the iteneary, get the required documents ready, help with queries. Trip was good and as per planned itenary. Improvement- Driver should be made aware of the entire itenary and should be agreed before the trip to cover places to avoid any confussion later. 1. Stay @Tawang didn't had good meal prepared, taste was very basic and priced double of the normal price.

Soumenchandra's 6 days trip to North East

We truly had a wonderful time exploring Arunachal Pradesh with your team and appreciated the variety of experiences throughout the trip. Starting from the beginning, the cab provided was comfortable, and our initial driver, Ashok, was friendly and courteous. The hotel at Bhalukpong was adequate for an overnight stay, although we did face some issues with the bathroom's water supply, and one of the rooms did not have a functioning geyser. Additionally, dinner service was delayed by approximately an hour and a half from the requested time. The next day, we were introduced to our new driver, Sofikul. Initially, there was a language barrier, but it was eventually resolved, and we had a pleasant experience with him. The homestay in Dirang was excellent. In Tawang, the hotel offered good amenities; however, we were surprised to find that tea was charged separately despite the breakfast being complimentary. In Bomdila, the accommodation was cozy and served the purpose for a one-night stay. Overall, we had a good experience over the six-day trip. However, there were a few concerns that we would like to highlight: Upon our arrival, when we inquired with Ashok about the travel time to Kamakhya, his first question was, “Do you have Kamakhya on your itinerary?” This raised concerns, as we expected the drivers to be well-versed with the itinerary beforehand. A similar situation occurred the next day with Sofikul, who also seemed unaware of the planned route and sites. As a result, we missed our first scheduled stop at Orchid Garden in Tippi. Additionally, we took an incorrect route to reach our homestay in Dirang due to a misunderstanding, as the driver had been initially informed that it was the correct path. While the next two days proceeded smoothly, Day 6 presented another issue. Our itinerary included visits to Kameng Valley and the Bhutan border. However, no local residents, including our driver, appeared to be familiar with Kameng Valley, and we were unable to visit it. Later, we were informed that we would travel to Tezpur, where Ashok would rejoin us and accompany us to Guwahati. This change in the plan was unexpected, and it seemed to us that there was a lack of internal communication regarding the route. Sofikul mentioned he could have taken the Shergaon route if needed, but it was evident that he preferred the Tezpur route, which unfortunately led to us missing another destination. As compensation, we were told we could visit two other temples, but Ashok mentioned that one was located within Guwahati city and not feasible due to time constraints. He was also hesitant about visiting the second temple, but upon our insistence, we managed to go there. Lastly, on April 12th, I reached out to our trip manager, Pravin. He informed me that he was on leave and provided the contact details of Nikita, who was indeed very helpful. However, it would have been appreciated if this had been communicated proactively, as we respect the importance of personal time and would have avoided disturbing him unnecessarily. In conclusion, while we genuinely enjoyed the trip and the beautiful locations, there were several instances of miscommunication between the agency and the drivers. Addressing these gaps in coordination would greatly enhance the overall experience for future travelers. Travel to Bumla pass.
