Tawang Family Packages

. Choedar Homestay in Tawang is very good. It was really neat and clean. Hosts also very kind. Hosts of Lama's Homestay at Bomdila(Shergaon) are not proactive. We have to say everything, like curry for roti's, we explicitely have to tell. For us they gave only rotis and told that we did not tell them about curry(side dish). Driver from Guwahati was overspeed at some places. He need to control the speed. In few places he was overtaking even if a vehicle was coming from opposite direction which was fearful moment. Still thankful for taking us back safely. From Tawang, to Bumla pass and Zemitang valley, we have to travel with our own cost and not included in the package. This information was provided by Triptovana. But they did not tell me how much cost it might be. It is really very costly. Total it costed us around Rs. 13,000/- extra. Request for Hotels to have cleanliness, driver to have moderate speed. And Triptovana should give the information of expected average cost amount which is not covered.

didn't inform me in advance) . There is nothing much to see in East Arunachal except Tawang. Sizra was in constant touch with me regarding our trip and was always ready to help me out. One problem was that there was lack of coordination between Sizra and the car vendor. We were promised a Ertiga car in our itinerary but the car vendor sent a very old triber car instead and even the driver was not proper. We couldn't do any sightseeing on the 1st day. Driver even constantly borrowed money from us. All rooms provided at all hotels were very good 3⭐ deluxe rooms. We got 2 rooms everywhere for a family of 4. Except Serene Resort at cherrapunji where the rooms were very small. In the midst of our trip, we were assigned a Ertiga car and the new driver was very genuine. On our last day of trip there was flood like situation in Guwahati. Thanks to our driver Rex Renee presence of mind and helping nature, he somehow through lots of difficulties managed to help us to catch our flight. Overall Arunachal has beautiful foggy views, greenary place, but tiring long road journey . Unexplored trip and Sizra did their best to give us a comfortable trip with a few flaws though. It would be better if they have their own team of drivers and cars instead of outsourcing it. Points: 7/10

Everything was planned smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about anything during the trip, and we were able to complete our journey successfully with lots of happy moments. ls experience etc. In this trip, the driver had not met the agent even once. The same was true with hotels booked. They did not even recognize the travel agency name. As a side effect, we had several confusions including our pickup times, right places to visit on right days etc. I personally had to do sufficient research while on the trip to readjust plans, schedules etc. Another example is the last place we stayed in Tawang. While people were really nice and helpful. Agent did not seem to know that there were road closures and road repairs to reach this place from a month. We reaching there at night and struggling by ourselves to find this place was exhausting to say the least. I also expected better tour plan suggestions from the agent and alternatives. Looks like many things were taken for granted. Arunachal pradesh as a place is a beauty! Loved every place we visited. Struggled a bit with clean food options during road travels, especially we being vegetarian, but that was ignorable. Despite all this, it was a memorable trip and I will use TravelTriangle again, but will have to be more careful about agent's experience and involvement.
