Sabarimala Temple: Located in Kerala, this temple is one with strange customs, of not letting women of menstruation age enter it. It is dedicated to Lord Ayappa, the son of Lord Shiva and Mohini, who was the female incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Recent interventions by the Supreme Court mandated that women of all ages be allowed to enter the temple premises.
