The one at Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand is fabled to be the one at the highest elevation, and thus is quite difficult to get to. It is part of the famous chaar dham yatra, and for most Hindus it is imperative to visit. The temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas, after which it was rebuilt by Adi Shankaracharya. Despite the flash floods that Uttarakahnd witnessed a few years ago, the temple remained intact with very little damage.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple: The Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi is another temple that is sure to be part of your temple tour packages. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is another of the important jyotirlingas in India.

One day should be kept completely free at each destination. In our trip half a day was planned, due to daily tours one doesn't get anytime to experience the city by walk and explore. Also last leg ie HCM in my tour wasn't planned as well as Hanoi wnd DaNang, as a result, there was no time to visit CuChi tunnels, war museum etc. it seemed the agent had got tired and didn't prioritise or was not well versed with HCM city leaving these war memorials optional. Hello Backtoholidays, We recently had a trip to Gangtok sikkim with the help of Travel assistant Preeti Sharma from Backtoholidays. The planning and execution were done very well. We have covered almost all the places as per the plan. Preeti was very helpful from the start of planning to trip till the end. She has provided all the required information what ever we have asked for. There was a surprise for my husband on father's day from my son side Preeti conducted it very well. Coming to the trip, had a really good time. 1st hotel at Gangtok was very good. Room was not so spacious but the staff, manager and every member were so co-operative and the food was very nice. The 2nd hotel at Pelling Sila Norphel was worst. Room was nice but the food and the staff deserve 0 rating. I know this was a budget hotel. But it can be little more better. Driver travelled along with us was also good and no issues.Thanks Preeti for all ur support during this period of journey. Nathula pass journey was the best...

Every place we visited had something unique to offer, and I truly appreciated the time spent exploring and relaxing. The only downside was the hotel accommodation, which was not up to the mark. The facilities and service did not meet expectations and could definitely use some improvement. Despite this, it didn’t overshadow the overall trip, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Worst experience with Travel tringle and trip sailer, I booked hotels for my trip with 4 star category, after making payment trip sailer changed my hotels to lowerand worst class hotels by stating that rooms are not available even they didnot discussed with me for changing hotels, when I checked other platform room are showing vacent, also after change of hotel they didnot refund the differential amount as well, after that when I went for check in I found that rooms not booked and on my complaint they booked the hotel to a third class hotel, and after spending 3 hours outside hotel I have to go for another hotel, trip sailer is a completely fraud company and behaviour of sheetal and saurabh was too bad, they are not customer oriented and totally unprofessional, when I made complaint to travel tringle executive, he was also feeling helpless and not supported to me, I am surprize to see that travel tringle is doing business with such fraud agents. worst experience this time but still I expect that Travel tringle will help in refunding differential amout and will take strict action to this fraud company trip sailer. worst experience

The overall experience was just about okay — not terrible, but definitely not what was promised or expected. While the itinerary was planned in advance, the car provided was far from luxury, despite prior assurance, and felt more like a basic taxi. The driver was polite but mostly functioning as a pick-and-drop resource, without any flexibility if we had to go somewhere else. Although he was very polite and very punctual. One of the most disappointing moments came on our last day, when we were headed to the airport for our return flight and the assigned cab had a flat tire. We had to urgently book another cab on our own to avoid missing our flight — something that should never happen with a managed tour. We were also told we would be added to a WhatsApp group before the trip for coordination, but no such group was ever created. On the day we visited Nusa Penida, we waited over an hour at the port without being able to reach any agent — in India, in Bali, or the driver. That part of the experience felt very poorly managed and left us feeling stranded. In summary, it was a 3-star experience — some things worked as per plan, but the service lacked warmth, flexibility, and responsiveness. With a few improvements in communication, car quality, and on-ground support, the experience could be significantly better.

Built in the early 18th century, this temple is dedicated to the cherubic Lord Ganesha, youngest son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. With the face of an elephant and the body of a human, he is considered to drive away all evils by his sheer tenacity.

There are nearly a thousand pillars inside the temple, all of which are intricately carved and different from each other. The external facade of the temple is a very, very bright and colorful one.

Dwarkadhish Temple: The Dwarkadhish Temple in Gujarat is another part of the Char Dham yatra that hindus consider the ultimate pilgrimage. More than 2,500 years old, the temple is believed to have a door to enter heaven and one to enter nirvana.

Amarnath Cave Temple: This is probably the biggest pilgrimage that a hindu devotee goes on, the Amarnath Yatra. The Amarnath Cave Temple is located in Kashmir, and it is much acclaimed for the natural shiva lingam that forms here during the monsoons, when the dripping water freezes to form the idol. This temple is open only from June to August, and does take a hard trek to visit here, taking nearly 5 days to finish the journey.

Tirupati Balaji Temple: The Tirupati Balaji Temple, located in Andhra Pradesh, is probably one of the most famous temples in India. Over a million devotees visit it daily, offering their hair as a penance for getting their wishes granted. This happens during the Brahmotsavam festival that is held every year in September.

Sabarimala Temple: Located in Kerala, this temple is one with strange customs, of not letting women of menstruation age enter it. It is dedicated to Lord Ayappa, the son of Lord Shiva and Mohini, who was the female incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Recent interventions by the Supreme Court mandated that women of all ages be allowed to enter the temple premises.
