The days were a perfect mix: one moment we’d be wandering through gorgeous green rice fields, the next, relaxing by the ocean or soaking in a stunning sunset at Tanah Lot. There were moments of adventure, laughter, relaxation, and so much good food (I still crave that Nasi Goreng from the first night!). What really stood out was how the Taking Break Holidays team treated everyone like family. If anyone needed something, they sorted it right away—no fuss. The only challenge we faced was Bali’s traffic congestion, which caused us to miss a couple of spots. For future travelers, we recommend factoring in traffic delays during planning. Travel Planner: Special thanks to Muskkan from Tour Hunters—from the initial planning stage to execution, she was outstanding. Always available, extremely responsive, and ensured we had all the details well in advance. Kudos to her. Accommodation: Royal Regentris, Kuta A very good choice—cozy rooms, friendly staff, and overall a pleasant stay. Being vegetarians, food options were limited, but they offered a decent English breakfast, so it wasn’t an issue. No complaints here. Ashoka Tree Resort, Tanggayuda Unfortunately, this was the only major disappointment of the trip. We stayed in a one-bedroom villa with a private pool, which had multiple issues: Room had leaks during rain, causing waterlogged floors. Extremely poor hospitality—complaints were ignored. Reception was almost always unmanned; even at checkout, despite prior intimation, no one was available. We had to leave our keys with security and leave. Staff appeared highly understaffed and untrained, which made the experience very unpleasant. Overall Experience Apart from the bad experience at Ashoka Tree, the trip was wonderful. Beautiful locations, memorable moments, and great support from Tour Hunters made it a trip to cherish. Thank you, Muskkan, and the entire team for making this possible!
