2. Don Mueang International Airport (DMK)
Don Mueang International Airport is one of the oldest airports of Asia which began functioning in 1924. It shut down when Suvarnabhumi began to operate, but huge traffic led it to reopen in 2007. Now it is the hub of regional and domestic travel. Located in Bangkok’s northern suburbs it provides one with cheap flights to places inside the country. Other than operating commercial flights, the airport is also a Royal Thai Navy Air Station.
