We were traveling for the most part of our Meghalaya trip, and the itinerary was not very good. Even with the few constraints we had, it could have been planned better—most of the places we reached by the day's end and could not enjoy at all. The hotel in Cherapunji (which was changed - we booked fo
r something else) had its kitchen closed and it wasted a lot of time during the previous day night (as we had to take dinner somewhere else and it is not very easy to find many restaurants in Cherapunji) and breakfast was not given (only tea/coffee and bread-butter were given). As per the Traveltriangle, do not expect them to give you any time after the trip booking. Keep calling or sending emails but they will not at all respond to you.

My Meghalaya trip is upto the mark and I really enjoyed it a lot, but I also had some bad experiences with the hotels and services agent. 1) Hotel phoenix residency shillong: stay at shillong hotel was good, breakfast is also good. 2) Hotel 7 sisters falls view inn, cherrapunji: I had very bad
experiences with this hotel and service of travel agent here. This hotel lack basic amenities in the room and also very less options for the breakfast. Prior to booking I was offered cherrapunji holiday resort by the agent and after confirming we agreed to go with the cherrapunji holiday resort but after making payment the travel agent informed me that he cannot provide the cherrapunji holiday resort instead of this hotel he could provide 7 sisters falls view inn. I felt bad at that time but no other options left for me I had to stay in 7 sisters fall hotel which was quite pathetic in respect of basic amenities. *Travel agent booked the hotels at shillong and cherrapunji without breakfast but I paid the price for the hotels with breakfast. After knowing this I called travel agent and he assured me that hotel would provide breakfast. After reaching there hotel staff informed me that my rooms was booked without breakfast and after discussion with hotel staff and agent the breakfast was provided to me. This was very bad experience I had experience there. 3) Ka bri war, Dawki: hotel at dawki ka bri was was superb, I really enjoyed staying here, breakfast was awesome, view from hotels was mind-blowing.
