Best Time to Visit

Bhutan is an ideal place to visit for a honeymoon tour, and one should make sure that the time must be perfect, as well. It is best to visit Bhutan between March and May when the flowers in the valleys are blooming.

The Winter Season (November - April)

Winters are also a great time to travel to the great Himalayan kingdom, Bhutan. The south of the country experiences the clement of winters. In contrast, the northern areas get snowfalls, which are considered to be a usual sight in the Himalayas during this season.

The Summer Season (May-October)

Summer falls between June till mid-September. Bhutan experiences the most amount of rainfall in these months.

How to Reach

By Air

Paro International Airport serves as the only airport in Bhutan to enter by air.

Druk Air is the one and only airline which operates regular flights between the two countries- India and Bhutan.

By Road

There is a direct bus from Esplanade Station in Kolkata to Phuentsholing. The bus journey takes nearly around 18 hours to reach Phuentsholing from Kolkata. The Bhutanese Government runs the buses.

By Sea

Bhutan is landlocked, there are no sea routes to this country.

Gangtey is the most incredible valleys in the Himalayas. Many people also know it by the name of Shangri-La of Bhutan. It's surprising to find such a vast & flat valley with no trees after climbing through the dense forests, augmented by the impression of enormous space. It's an extremely unusual experience in Bhutan to find such a vast area. Most of the valleys are surrounded by trees. Relish the charm of the valley by fixing your seat in the Bhutan Honeymoon package

Bobby's 4 days trip to Bhutan

I had specifically asked for 4 star properties and was quoted amount for the same. Lemon Tree thimpu is a 3 star property as per google and other major websites and Lemon Tree manager also said it is a 3 star property. Valley Travels passes it off as a 4 star Property. In Paro we were changed from Tashi Namgay, a 4 star property to tiger's Nest at the last minute. Tiger's Nest is a very old Property without proper plumbing and very far off from Airport as well as city center.

Ketan's 6 days trip to Bhutan

It was a good experience with BINC Bhutan. They provided Good hotels with upgrades wherever possible. All good places were recommended and covered. Very effective co-ordination by BINC team which made the visit very smooth and hassle-free. Some facts not in control of the agents - No role of the compulsory guide-not worth, most of the places have high entry fees (mostly not worth keeping in mind the place). Someone visited Sikkim/North-East may find Bhutan similar to that, so not all places are worth-visiting. Overall good experience. I recommend BINC.
