Best Time to Visit Italy

December - March is the best time to visit Italy. Offering pleasant weather conditions and fewer crowds these months, the weather in Northern Italy tends to be colder than in Southern Italy. Generally, the atmosphere of the country is fairly mild and predictable. During this time, passengers will be able to find outstanding hotel offers. It is also an ideal time for sightseeing and outdoor activities, as it is usually a dry season and the crowds are not at their peak either. July and August are Italy's warmest months, while January is the coldest.

Summer Season in Italy - Peak Season (Mid-May to July)

In the summer, amid the rising temperatures, Italy enjoys its peak travel season. If during the peak season you want to avoid crowds, then plan a trip to lesser-known places and smaller villages is recommended. There would be lots of tourist crowds in big cities like Venice and Florence. During the months of snowfall, mountainous regions with ski resorts witness a high season.

Shoulder Season in Italy (March to mid-May and October to November)

Surprisingly, visiting Italy these are some of the best months. We deliver nice temperatures and prices that are fair. Nevertheless, autumn is gaining popularity and may quickly become part of the peak season.

Winter Season in Italy - Offseason in Italy (December to February)

The time around the Carnival is an exception (usually in February). August is also part of the low season as this month's bulk of residents go on holiday, leading to lower hotel prices and less traffic. During this time, many restaurants and shops usually shut down. During the low season, you can expect excellent deals on your hotel accommodation. An exception to this rule is mountainous areas with ski resorts. During winters, they undergo a high season.

"Got honeymoon trip(italy) planned via WiseYatra and the Yatra was indeed wise! From complete customisation of the itinerary to over the call on ground support, the planning and execution was as seamless as it could get. Hotel bookings, visa, skip the queue entry tickets, travel passes everything was shared well on time with proper details. Groups were created over WhatsApp to resolve various queries during the bookings/visa process which was really helpful. Cruise Tour cancelled due to unavailability was also refunded without any questions asked. Detailed itinerary provided for local sightseeing as well. We planned our trip to Paris and Switzerland through Wise Yatra and it was amazing, everything was planned with our recommendation being considered. The help with regards to the Visa process was also exceptional. The Hotels given to us were also nice and the staff was helpful, they were also located near a transport connection, so it was easy to travel. We were also advised on which tickets to buy for convenient public transport. Also, all our attraction tickets were pre-booked and we were provided with Google map links to reach that point through our Hotels. The WiseYatra team was available on WhatsApp text throughout our trip for any queries. Thank you so much WiseYatra!!! for making our Honeymoon trip so unforgettable. Will definitely book another trip with them and would highly recommend it. Great trip

Ananya's 15 days trip to Italy

I was not happy with how few things were co -ordinated . Received the vouchers end moment leaving very little time to review . Infact the train voucher for venice was created for station very far off my hotel while there was a sation just at the walking distance (100m) from my hotel. I had to bear an expense of 50 Euro unnecessarlity for the transfer to hotel from station and i expected atleast a partial refund of my loss which never happened . Also, I had paid for the airport transfer for my return flight and its yet not reimbursed or acknowledged over mail. I just hada verbal and wats app communictaion with Yusuf. Regarding the entry tickets- considering Italy was extremely hot Collosium entry tickets were for 12pm noon , it could have been booked for an early evening or morning , I had to skip it as it was unabearbly hot . And there were lot of other gaps which i think should have been well communicated and discussed with me before they purchased the tickets (entry tickets)
