Our recent trip to Meghalaya was a truly memorable experience, filled with natural beauty, warm hospitality, and well-organized travel. Here's a quick recap of our journey: Shillong: Our stay in Shillong was delightful. The hotel was excellent, and the food was exceptionally good, adding comfort and flavor to our time there. Mawlynnong: Known as Asia's cleanest village, Mawlynnong lived up to its reputation in terms of beauty and cleanliness. The hotel we stayed at was beautiful and offered great views, although the facilities were quite average. Nonetheless, the natural charm of the place made up for it. Cherrapunji: Our experience in Cherrapunji was also very good. The hotel was comfortable, and we had a pleasant stay amidst misty hills and stunning landscapes. However we could have better option here, because food choices were very limited. Special Thanks: A special mention goes to Ms. Sizra from The Unexplored via Travel Triangle, who played a key role in making this trip so smooth and enjoyable. Her coordination and efforts are highly appreciated. She was continuously in touch with us during the trip to confirm about wellbeing and comfort. I am Dr. Rajesh Kumar from Hyderabad, and I recently booked a family tour package to Meghalaya for 4 days through Unexplored Trip for a group of 10 adults and 9 children. The entire experience was extremely smooth, well-organized, and truly memorable.Our point of contact, Mr. Shashank, did a fantastic job in coordinating the trip from start to finish. (1)The hotels suggested by Unexplored Trip were excellent – well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, with proper hygiene standards which was especially important as we were traveling with children.(2) The cab service was also very good – we had a spacious, clean vehicle and the driver was professional, punctual, and courteous throughout the journey. The itinerary was well-planned, covering beautiful destinations like Cherrapunji, Dawki, Mawlynnong, and Shillong, with enough flexibility to suit the needs of our large group.(3)Communication from Shashank was constant and reliable. The Travel Agent took good care of the bookings for kaziranga safaris and boating in Dawki. Hotels were reasonably ok in Guwahati and Kaziranga. Shillong hotels were good and the Cherrapunji hotel for one night was basic while the second one was good. In Mawlynnong we did not get to stay in the hotel that was mentioned on the voucher and should have been communicated better. The driver arranged was also not very satisfactory. Please check about Kamakhya temple time needed and if you need to talk to someone to get VIP tickets before, similarly would have been good to let us know that Waterfalls would be out of water in meghalaya in December, they caused unnecessary waster of our time. Also he should know what Shillong peak is closed on Wednesdays which caused us to waste another precious 2 hours.

The highlight of Assam was cruising on the mighty Brahmaputra River and exploring the rich biodiversity of Kaziranga National Park, where I spotted majestic rhinos and vibrant birdlife. In Meghalaya, the serene landscapes of Shillong, the mesmerizing beauty of Dawki's crystal-clear waters, and the charm of Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village, left me in awe.

Trip was very good and enjoyable. Cab and driver also good and quite cooperative. Support from the travel agent, Indeman travels was quite good. Most of the hotels were good. However, we faced a problem in hotel Stream side Cottage at Mawlynnong where our booking was given away to other people and we were denied the rooms in the hotel. We had to call Indeman travels several times and finally after 3 hrs of struggle we were provided some alternative rooms in another location by the Manager of the hotel. The behaviour of the hotel Manager was very good as he made the alternative arrangements and served the dinner there. Also, in the itenerary, the booking for the 2nd and 5th night was at Treetops Residency at Shillong. On the 5th night when we arrived at Treetops Residency to our utter surprise we found that there is no booking in our name in this hotel. We I called Indeman Travels they informed that our booking was at another hotel, La Castle. However this was not clearly mentioned in the itenerary nor this information was given to the driver. Hence we had to once again pack our luggages and go to hotel La Castle. Apart from the above the trip was quite enjoyable. Indeman travels coordinator, Mr. Gaurav Pandey was also very supportive and helpful. The waterfalls, Roots bridge and the scenic beauty was exotic and memorable. The River Brahmaputra cruise was also quite enjoyable.

Our travel agent has coordinated our 8day Meghalaya trip well. Our accomodation in Shillong and Mawlynnong was really good but the stay in Cherrapunji was not upto the mark. Itinerary was prepared and customised as per our requirement. The cab arranged was very good as well. To summarise my family had a great time in Meghalaya.

I was skeptical about the service initially; however, the trip was well organized and executed well.. The hotels were all amazing, with great service and fantastic view. The stay in Mawlynnong was good, but the host was lil uptight, I mean he was less friendly and more of business. We were served breakfast every morning at our convenient time, which was great. The only feedback I wanna give is related to the Dawki boating, which was a complimentary ride arranged by Travel kutir. They promised for a ride, however, did not make it clear, that the ride will not be from the main Dawki point, instead he arranged the ride from another point, which was 12kms away from Dawki main point, which is actually famous for boating. We had to change that point at last minute and had to pay for one boat, since they cannot accommodate more than 3 people in single boat, and we were 4 ppl in total. We were in touch with Arvind from Travel kutir, he was all good and checked on us almost every day, however, the boating thing could have been communicated correctly in the beginning to us. Overall, I would definitely suggest and use Travel triangle for my future trips. My entire trip was amazing and I have made soooo many memories that I cannot pick the best out of it.

We had a lovely memory filled trip to Meghalaya but every trip has its hits and misses. Our itinerary was packed and before the trip we were only thinking of adding places to it. However, on the trip we were always choosing which place to skip so that the highlights are not missed. Be prepared for a lot of road travel and lots of going up and down long fleets of stairs to enjoy the views. we stayed a night each at kaziranga, cherapunjee, dawki and 2 nights at shillong. My suggestion to fellow travellers would be to ask for a realistic time needed to enjoy each activity and destination maybe stay couple of nights each at dawki and cherapunjee so that you may cover and enjoy more and at your leisurely pace. Misses 7 hours of waiting at Kamakhyaji temple but no darshan - 3 hours of queue still ahead (all this in VIP). Avoid the rush during festivals or keep a full day . Kaziranga- check if safaris are open before travelling as in our case elephant safari hadn't started. Dawki - water was dirty/ unclear.. we were told it rained before we reached and thus.. also had to skip pitcher plant lake and activities at krang suri cherapunjee - we skipped mawsmai caves to cover arwah but were later told that mawsmai was better.. dainthlen falls is under curfew - poor approach road - time wasted Hits Watching wildlife in their home.. Krang Suri Falls - Crystal clear water. We skipped swimming and boating here hoping things will be far great at dawki but we repented later. Dont repeat our mistake. keep time carry change of clothes. thank me later. Single decker root bridge - so beautiful so elegant just looking like a wow :D :D Sky view point at mawlynnong - the bamboo structure is a different experience.. there is a trek of the same at pillar rock if you are a trek enthusiast Grand canyon laitlum - Simply breathtaking (although clouds played spoilsport and the canyon was hide and seek for us :( ) nohkalikai falls - Rainbow at the bottom of the falls Arwah cave - Rugged trail - but please take less travelled path only if you are in a group. The beautiful valleys the driving through clouds.. dopamine high!! Special mention - Our Driver, Mr. Shivaji Malakar was pleasant throughout and a gentlman who doubled as a photographer for us at many instances but we wished he had more knowledge of the signts and tourist spots. 5* as a person and driver but 2maybe3* as a guide. Megha from Travel Kutir delivered on all her promises. helped us choose the most value for money properties at our budget. She was always cordial and helpful despite my odd hours and multitude of questions. Any concerns raised during the trips were attended promptly. Big Thank You.

This is my 2nd trip with Travel Triangle and Chandrashekhar helped me lot in customising the itenary. Hotels in Cherapunji, Mawlynnong was very worst and unexpected. Service was very poor and rooms were horrible, unclean. Cab driver was excellent and on time everywhere.

The trip was well organized by Unexplored Trips as per my requirement. Our day time was mostly travelling in a CAR to different locations. The Dezire Car allotted to us was very good in condition with the driver, so obedient, courteous and experienced in hilly terrain. Except the hotel provided in Shillong was within city, the approach was congested space. Accommodation in Khaziranga, Cherrapunji and Mawlynnong was also good.
