1. Mahanandiswara Temple

One of the Navanandi temples, Mahanandiswara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, houses an effigy of Nandi bull, his devotee. Out of the nine Nandi temples, Mahanandi got famous due to its perennial holy water at the Garbhagriha, underneath the Lingam. The water is said to have healing properties. The architecture of the temple amalgamates Chola, Chalukya, and Vijayanagara styles. Festivals like Shivaratri and Karthik Purnima are celebrated with great enthusiasm on the temple premises. 2. Belum Caves
