By Rail

There is no direct rail connectivity to reach Kathmandu. However, one can take a train from Delhi to Gorakhpur to reach Kathmandu.

By Air

Kathmandu has an international airport, Tribhuvan International Airport which is well connected to all parts of the world. It also has a few domestic airports namely, Buddha Air, Nepal Airlines, Cosmic Air and others.

By Road

One can take a bus from either Gorakhpur or Varanasi to reach Sunauli from where one can board a local bus to reach Kathmandu.

R's 9 days trip to Nepal

We travelled to Nepal on a 9 days (8 nights) tour in March 2024. We were two couples and our itinerary covered Kathmandu, Chitwan National Park, Pokhara & Nagarkot. The tour was organised by M/s Kabru Adventure Holidays, Kathmandu, through Travel Triangle. A single vehicle (Toyota Hiace) picked us up from Kathmandu airport and remained with us for the entire tour, finally dropping us off at Kathmandu airport on 9th day. The trip was well planned and we got very good hotels throughout the entire trip. Rain greeted us at Pokhara, and it did play spoilsport for a day. Despite that, we did manage to squeeze in a little bit of local sightseeing there. A birthday surprise with cake was arranged for my wife at the hotel in Souraha which was very well received by our entire group. Mr Amit Dhami of Kabru Adventure planned and conducted day-to-day coordination with us during the entire trip. Special thanks to him.

Namastejuley's 4 days trip to Nepal

We (batch of 4 couple) had the trip to Kathmandu & Pokhara in this month. This itinerary was organized well by Kabru Adventure. Amit Dhami of Kabru coordinated very well. He ensured that we are comfortable at each point and as in desired manner. Hotel Landmark at Pokhara is at excellent location but some rooms were relatively small, but overall we enjoyed Pokhara. Weather god played havoc while we returned at Pokhara airport. Amit coordinated to ensure that we are not stuck at Pokhara airport and ensured timely support in those extreme condition. Due to weather, we could not complete our itinerary to Dhulikhel and managed to stay at Thamel. Overall it is good experience and hope to visit again. R. Trip to Nepal

Let me preface this by saying that I never wrote a review for any tourist operator so far even though I have been holidaying regularly for past 9 years. What made me write this review is the work of Sumit@Snowyoda (https://www.snowyoda.com/) whom I discovered through TravelTriangle. I had a great holiday at Nepal mainly thanks to Sumit/Snowyoda! Sumit came in touch with me shortly after I logged a request on Travel Triangle and showed great responsiveness for my requirements. While I had made an initial plan Sumit significantly improved it through thoughtful suggestions and redesigned my itienary. This trip was special to me as it was my 25th marriage anniversary. I made a special request to Sumit to see if a cake and bouquet can be arranged as part of the Everest base camp tour. They didn't have electricity at the hotel at Everest base camp but Sumit had gone over and beyond his duty and had worked with the Helicopter tour company to have my stuff airlifted from Kathmandu itself! He met me in person to wish me on my anniversary and I found him to be a bundle of passion and energy for his work ! I wish Sumit and his team all the best for their future aspirations. Trip to Nepal

A very satisfying trip with Snowyoda. I travelled from Dec 26 2023 to Jan 2 2024 and booked a full package tour from Snowyoda for family of four. The package included hotel rooms, car for domestic travelling (incl airport) and flight tickets within Nepal (Kathmandu to Pokhra). The logistics was seamless. All the drivers were very professional and nice and always on time. Cars were in perfect condition and clean (BYD electric cars). Hotel stay was excellent and w/out any issues. The hotel locations, room hygiene, comfort, food and the staff behaviour were wonderful. The electric cars provided were very good. The cars were big, spacious and comfortable. The trip was designed as per our requirements. The roads are under repair/expansion, leading to long bumpy rides, and wastage of time. Taking a plane for either to or fro for Pokhara-Kathmandu will provide more time to spend there. Sunrise at Nagarkot, viewing from Hotel, was very convenient and time saving. The sunrise at Sarangkot was perfect and one of the best in our lifetime.
