Ygprabhu's 5 days trip to Kerala

Munnar and Thekkady were great- both Winternote and Woodnote hotels are amazing. Staff was eager to please and were always available for service. Our cab driver Riyas Vali was very polite and respected our wishes of where to go and when to start, where to stop. Allepey houseboat was a unique experience for water cruise and overnight staying in the boat, but somewhat subpar in terms of absence of glitz, paucity of dining options, saltwater supply in bathrooms etc. Do not wish that this feedback be passed to houseboat operators, it is what it is and traveller should understand what they are getting into, that is look beyond how it is marketed. Need to appreciate that after buying the package, not an extra penny was asked anywhere. Do not sleep during the drives from Kochi to Munnar, to Thekkady, to Allepey- or you will miss beautiful forest and mountain scenery!

I need not worry and from the time getting down at Rly station till return back to station everything was arranged perfectly. Except accomodation at pagoda for one day, the entire trip was smooth and pleasant.
